I totally disagree. She looks like a typical black woman, but just cartoonized. She has black features such as the hair, the lips and a black persons nose. Shes not perfect, but i think that they have managed to animate the princes pretty well. It would of been very easy for them to just draw a princess with white features and then colour her black.

Nothing is ugly about her, unless you consider "blackness" ugly. if so then thats ur own problem, nothing to do with her.

He's tan, has short dark hair, it looks curly or wavy, and is said to be Greek from Malondia, but has a french accent. He's taller than Tiana, is wearing a green suite, and looks to be full of character. Some says her appears biracial, like a light skinned Middle Eastern or African guy. IDK.

Well, it is an American name in a way. This name was also used by Native Americans, but with a slightly different pronunciation.

Tiana means "Princess" so that might be why they chose it.

Wow! She underwent a lot of transformations. Can you believe how they gave her blue eyes though? It's very rare a black girl has blue eyes unless she is somehow mixed with something other than black. I'm glad they made her look decent and respectable instead of looking like a mammy. Disney is known after all to be both sexist and racist so I'm glad they made these transformations. So amazing to have a new addition to the princesses and she's black! ;]
