Im watching one right now eating a bone whole after dropping it on some rocks on the Nat Geo channel. I didnt know there were birds who craved bone marrow. wow.

No, the bird was reintroduced in the same area (Le Grand Bornand)in 1988, the beginning of a vast project to make the birds feel at home in the alps. successful so far. This one has been breeding for 11 years now!
