love the cover...how did you find travelling with the backpacker thinking of getting one for my gap year however i dont know what airports would be like with one, did you have any trouble?
Nah, it sounds a lot more twangy. It has a thinner tone to it than a "real" classical guitar or a jumbo or whatever. The smaller the body the thinner the sound. I like the sound of it a lot. I actually bought mine because i wanted a different sound. It kind of crosses into banjo territory sound wise because of the thin twangy vibe it's got going.
Thanks tuber... Yea, it was a blessing having that guitar on my trip. Keeps you company when you're bored and lets you entertain with friends! I appreciate the kind words..
thanks a lot. I'm going on a backpacking trip and im in the market for a backpacker guitar to keep in practice while im about. I'm still trying to decide whether I should get a steel string or nylon. I've heard the nylor version is slightly louder, but yours sounds perfect.
Great cover!! You should be on "IDOL!!"

It also has a shorter scale.

Sounds good with that little guitar. Nice play'n.

is it steel string or nylon?
mellon423 3 years ago
Steel string, though I recommend using extra-light strings. Because the guitar has a unique "twang" to it, you don't need heavier gauge strings.
