Because its multilanguage, which means it will have all languages that dubbed the song, including the one who made it originally. Besides, it's a Japanese show, not all anime have an English version.

But that wasn't the Dutch dubbers fault. 4Kids had the right to distribute their dub to other western countries, so any other countries, except for ones in Asia, had no choice but to get the 4Kids version of the show.

And if the voices sound like that to you, that's only because they only had the English dub to look on and tried to imitate them.

If you know anyone that has them, can you ask them to send some to me. I want the episodes that have the songs in them at least XD.

One thing I found funny is that they call season 1(Episodes 1-26) "Druzina Mjau Mjau" and called season 2(Episodes 27-52) Mjau Mjau Tokio.

I recently got episode 7 and put the audio on DVD footages. And a friend of mine will be sending me episodes 27-30, so I'll be posting those up on MewMewInternational soon.

Good luck with that. I've been looking for the past 2 years now. The only Dutch song that was ever posted was the theme song. It seems that no one bothered to record and put them up. There were going to be DVDs but they were scrapped.

Latin is considered a dead language, meaning that it has no native/fluent speakers. So no anime has ever been dubbed in Latin since it's practically impossible and there would be no one to really view it XD.

I can't help but notice that the Brazilian Portuguese version of all the songs aside from "Dance Another Day" sound a bit... fandub-like. As in, they seem bad quality and whatnot...

Overall, I really like the English vocals, and the Spanish lyrics... I like the French mixing, and I don't really like anything about the Brazilian Portuguese... The Hebrew versions were nice, but they were kinda just okay quality. The others didn't really have enough to judge...

I just noticed something... The Hebrew and Dutch "Team Up" flow together really nicely. The French and Danish flow well but not quite as well...

The French and Danish versions of "Animal Instinct" flow well too...

The French "Supernatural" is by far my favorite version of that song...

For the last time. When 4Kids dubbed the show, they changed all the music. The Japanese version does not have these songs. In fact, most of the scenes shown here never had any songs in the Japanese version.

I've known that for months now. I just wanted the episode, which I do now. It was kind of a disappointment since they dubbed the other songs. I guess they just wanted to keep the sound effects in the scene and they would've been removed if they dubbed the song.

Impossible, unfortunately. These songs were added in when 4Kids dubbed the show. The original Japanese version never had songs during the transformations and had totally different theme song and different songs in the Lettuce/Bridget and Mew/Blue Aqua scenes. The rest of the songs originally didn't have an insert song in them at all.

It's most likely because it's cheaper buying rights from the English dubbers. Unfortunately, cheaper doesn't mean better since most never finished the series XD. The only dubs that started off with MMP that actually finished were French and Hebrew but only because they bought the rights to and dubbed the 2nd half themselves. It also helps that the Hebrew dub kept the original title, Tokyo Mew Mew, and names.

It's most likely just in your head. I put them side by side and they're the same speed. Although the Portuguese version of the songs sing in a slightly different tempo than the others.

I learn French at school, so I like the songs in French. I don't really like the Brazilian Portugese songs they sound really different cuz they changed the tempo. The Japanese version, Tokyo Mew Mew, was the original. The original theme song was called "My Sweet Heart" and was totally different. 4Kids changed the song completely when they made the English dub(not to mention changing most of the original Japanese concept of the show while they were at it).

That's why there's no Japanese stuff in this clip.

Yeah. The Brazilian Portuguese sort of changed the tempo in parts of the songs. It's probably because they remade the music of the songs themselves to avoid trying to remove the singing vocals.
