Tell me something, are you from the US? I have a hard time understanding why Americans use the Xbox so much, I know it's not a bad video-game, far from that, but it loses to the PS3 in pretty much everything I can think of. It has slightly weaker graphics (which I think is no big deal), it has less exclusives than the PS3 and, the most important thing, Live is PAID (which is ABSURD), so would you please explain it to me?

@wisefelipe Xbox is an overrated, over advertised gaming apparatus, which americans seem to get tricked by. They seem to think its the dominant console, but it is very much not! It has the most expenses! Once you buy a PS3, everything is done, no expenses after than, except buying games of course. But, with Xbox, you buy the console, then go home, only to realize that you have no charger for your controller, then you realize you have to pay for membership to play online, it doesn't stop there..

I get it then, so it's the advertising. We don't get advertisement for video-games here in Brazil so the PS3 dominates easily. I guess it also helps that people have long been used to the Playstation franchise while Xbox is relatively new and by Microsoft... and people don't like Microsoft much.

I have to admit though that one thing they do right. Xbox games are 40% cheaper than PS3 ones here...

@wisefelipe That's odd, in America, video games are all the same price of $60, unless they are bought used, then they'd be a bit cheaper. I guess the Xbox games are cheaper there because its not a big thing over there, and PS3 is. Unfortunately, Xbox is quite overrated in America, and its actually not worth it to buy one. PS3 is probably your best bet to actually having fun with games and savoring them, instead of wasting money TRYING to have fun.

Because of import rates, taxes etc etc the average PS3 and Xbox game used to be around 150 dollars here. PS3 games are still around that price, but Xbox ones are now selling for somewhere around 100 dollars. I know Microsoft did something to pay less taxes, maybe they are producing the games in Brazil now or have made a deal with the government I don't know. Sony could do the same but they kind of dislike Brazil as we bought a ridiculous amount of pirate games in the PS1 and 2 era

Just because it is set in a time much like the present, doesn't mean it still isn't a fantasy. Like the tag-line for this game says. A fantasy based on reality. And it's not emo, it's dark and gritty. That makes it more real. To compare it to something else, if the FF games were superhero movies, 13 would be Superman Returns, all bright, heroic, and cliched, and Versus would be The Dark Knight, grim, dark, and more real. It's a welcome change I think.

Noctis is powerful, okay, but you don't love the main character just for his skills and his look, but also for his ennemy. Why isCloudloved by A LOT of people? because of Sephiroth. People won't think they love him because of this, but it's unconscious. So Noctis could certainly kick Cloud's but, but if there is no charismatic ennemy such us the The Joker for Baman, or Kuja for Zidane, Noctis will be useless. We'll see in few years
