You're also forgetting Ryan Howard was the youngest player to 100 Hr's EVER in the history of baseball. He also has 177 hr's in only 3.5 seasons, that's averages 50 hr's a year. I would like to make clear that there was only one collapse: 2007. I don't like how everyone exaggerates the Mets failures. 2006 n 2008 saw them come up a bit short.
