  • You sound like the weekend project youtube guy.

  • Beautiful a little fret buzz is O K with me

  • Is it You Gotta Move by The Rolling Stones what you're playing :) ?

  • when you started playing it sounded like a string snapped lol

  • nice

  • sound is a shit

  • çok sikik olmuş moruk

  • maybe he's selling it

  • He bought the cigar box....

  • Ya gotta move!!!

  • nice build

  • nicely done!!! The sound is PHAT !

    I'd like to see exactly how that all goes together peace out :}

  • for the cigars- = p

  • You have to buy the cigar box...

  • Cigars are not free. By a long shot.

    Cheers.

  • What did u use for a sound well?

  • I constructed the sound well out of plywood. If you go to my webpage and click on resonator CBG #2 you'll see.

  • Did you use store baught tuner pegs and frets or did you use homemade ones. And if so what did you use for them?

  • why put physical frets on it if you're using it for slide?

    just wondering

  • You make a really good point. I'd made quite a few fretless cbgs for slide and so many people asked me why I don't fret them. So I made one with frets. I have it set up to play either way, but to be honest I almost never fret this instrument. Thanks for the question.

  • beautiful and original but i dont like the sound...

  • im gonna use a walnut fingerboard on my next electric guitar i build...

hopefully its as good as ebony and rosewood.

  • Hi, Just love your work! What a wonderful looking and sounding instrument! Just wondering what strings you used?

    Best wishes,

    Tony

  • Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed.

    I think the strings are Martin mediums. I'm using stings 2, 3, 4 & 5 (I think). - Jeff

  • Wauw! I've beeen experimenting with potlid's but that sounds no where near this.

I think im goin to be hunting for a reso-uke set because this is the coolest looking cbg i'v ever seen!

Five stars and i added it to my favorites.

Check my Cbg out if you'd like..

    Greetings from holland

  • Thanks for the compliment. I've now made 20-somthing CBGs. Each one is a little bit better than the one before (not necessarily better sounding though). Keep making them for a couple years FraJa1980 and you'll be surprised how good you'll get.

I looked at your videos. You play well and, trust me, your CBG #2 is much nicer than my CBG #2 was. - Jeff

  • Your welcome Jeff, i see how you get more inventive with evry video. This one i especialy like cause of the resonator wich makes it so real and less toy'like!! Ive started buiding (and playing) since September and got hooked ever since, i'll keep building and hopefully i get somewhere near your level of building!

Thank you, that particular cbg i made for a friend of mine and he's real happy with it!

Thanks for taking the time and greets from Holland my CBG building friend

    Frans

  • Great tone!

I'm still learning and building CBG's. I've been thinking about doing a resonator next. If it turns out half as nice as that one, I'll be happy ;)

  • Thanks for the compliment. My first cbg reso used a small pot lid found at a thrift store. It sounded pretty good, too.
