Dr Romano was an excellent surgeon and he gave his patients nothing less than the best in care. I think he was the hardest working surgeon there he cared awhole lot about that job and the place he worked even put his life and his money into that place. I will say he was not a bad guy he had a temper and didnt take no shit from anybody when he had a problem he told you about it. Kerry is a backstabbing gay bitch and everything she said about her was true.

I love Romano - before season 9 he was like so much like some real life doctors. I think the way that killed him off was so stupid and crazy. Selfish, dominant, misogynist, a heartless bastard, slave driver, dedicated, an excellent surgeon. And he always had a soft spot for Elizabeth.

i still love it though and the final 5 or 6 seasons were still AS good as other tv shows...just not as brilliant as the previous ones!!

Robert Romano was one on my favourite characters. I loved him because he was very cynical and that was very funny. Romano had sentiments but he prefered to keep his sentiments in himself.

I think after he lost his arm the writers largely made him very two-dimensional.

I think that scene with Corday at the end was great and showed a vulnerability to him. He could not connect with people and was anti-social but being a Doctor was his way of making up for his failings.

He did have a softer side; we saw it with Lucy's death, with Benton's son, and Mark Greene. He masked his true feelings behind a cynical exterior. His softer side should have been explored more IMHO.

Yea, they made it sound like he had it coming. From my view, Robert Romano was not a bad person. While he was completely insensitive, often rude, and petty, he gave his patients nothing less than the best in care.

Congratulations on a terrific video of one of the most underrated TV characters ever, in my humble opinion.

One slight criticism....I would have LOVED to have seen the scene when he's interviewing Benton for that fellowship thing and he asks him a question he wasn't allowed to ask: "Oh no. Call the interview police."
