@ArturoKano Yeah, I believe the song means that God is literally a "pop star". Think of it, God is an idol to most people. Same with celebrtities or pop stars, etc. So by him singing this, must mean that God is a load of bullshit. I don't know if I'm right, I feel like that is what he means. 'Til somebody else better comes, sooner or later they will forget God. Or maybe it could mean, God was the big pop star in the beginning, 'til his son Jesus came. And took his place, in praise.

Dero's voice is really the one voice I've heard transfer well from another language to English. I normally like a vocalist's native language better, but with Dero I love him both in German AND English. <3 AMAZING!

I think this song is about how people of any religion, try to twist their religion into something it's not, like at the beginning of the song, the prayer is correct, but if you notice it keeps getting more and more twisted throughout the song, I think this applies to groups of people, they try to twist you into believing things that aren't true, like maybe the things church groups say, aren't things God says, but things they want you to hear to benefit themselves...So it's kinda like hypocrisy

One of the few songs that translates well from German to English unlike Augen Auf. Just couldn't get it to time up in English with the music. Either way this is a great song in both languages. Great band in both languages. Absolute shame that they haven't gotten bigger here in the states. One of the best bands out there IMO. Funny how they're compared to Rammy and visa versa yet sound so distinctly different. I get why they are but it's kinda like the Beatles and the Stones being compared.
