I'm not bashing you but when teaching a dog to do a trick, when he sits thats a trick, when he speaks thats a trick, then when you had him stay before giving him his treat thats the third trick, so my point here is this dog truly does not know what he is getting a treat for, sitting, speaking or staying. I have a doberman as well and he learned all of his tricks very easily.

it does take much just start as puppy get them in a room alone where they arent distracted and just use treats at first and they slowly get rid of treats and just show them love.. ive also taught her how 2 sit and shake with just snapping my fingers i have to post that up... and she can switch paws now

@skatsonface Well you'll have a lot more success with some sort of motivation for the dogs. The treat shouldnt b used all the time their good to start off with tho. And yes respect is defiently IMPORTANT Your right bout that!! But with treats you give the dog something to work for and later you weane them off to a simply loving them. My dobe respects me and loves me and I make him listen but I reward him when he does with either a rub, or a treat.

@JustinFlournoy2008 start early! The earlier the better!. I had a pup who was 4 months old and he could, sit, shake lay down, sit pretty, and crawl. He remembers all them commands as an adult even with little practice, as they absorb stuff as a pup. And as a pup u can shape them to enjoy learning and to b confident, which will allow the dog to do more! And both Dobes and Rotties are amazing dogs!! But u need a lot of practice and patients with new comands.

That red one looks a lot like the one I used to have. We had him put down because his body started to give out after 15 years. But he was great company while he was still healthy. He was always energetic and playful even though laying down and getting back up were really hard for him, bad arthritis.

lol.. her ears are fine and shes just lazy!?! The "artist" messed up so thats what they told you. Your vet or surgeon probably meant to give the dog a working crop but cut to much of the outside membrance causing the ears to come towards the middle of her head. Either they didnt measure the head to ear ratio correctly or they guy is inexperienced. A good crop and proper taping shouldnt leave the dogs ears like that, even if shes not being attentive. Your rust and tan has the ideal ear crop.

well we went to like 2 or 3 diff vets to see what was wrong and they all said the same thing..sometimes they'll be up perfect all day.. sumtimes 1 will be up.. shes a very crazy dog
