@97heku u only out the av cables into the tv to change the display settings of the ps3.. that way the ps3 outputs composite video. then u stick em in the pc in order to record.

dude i need ur help.. i went to display settings to take out HDMI and i pressed 480 i believe and it just took off the screen i cant see ANYTHING all i can do is hear the PS3 but can`t hear a thing... what can i do to fix it?

@TheGamerPosse turn off your ps3. Turn it back on with the button on the ps3 and keep it held down until you hear 2 beeps . so just turn it off and hold the on button untill it beeps twise. Make sure you have your hdmi plugged in.

First the hdmi in the tv, then you plug in the av cables to your tv, so you can change your ps3 settings to av, then after you have done that, you plug your ps3 into your pc's av, and then you need to use that little screen at windows movie maker as ur tv screen while u record... ?
