  • Mike Brown looks so odd in this video. He looks almost shy. Heehe. This was before he realized he was badass, I suppose.

  • I think I shit my pants when they played this

  • I CAN'T TELL HOW SHITTY THIS IS BECAUSE IT'S LOADING TOO SLOW

  • @AtomicHercules what a fag. there's nothing shitty about this. The quality isn't even that bad. so get your ass a mac and watch it again

  • the bass is live hes right next to the drummer if you looked close enough the bass player is usually always in the shadows wich i hate more than anything

  • Does Streetlight ever play their own intro with the bass live? I can't seem to find it, and I fucking love that version.

  • RIP Salinger?

  • Delano certainly isn't as enthusiastic as Mike Brown is.

  • who's better than streetlight? honestly...

  • catch 22

  • i couldnt disagree more

  • @pmmets07 i'll have to get back to you on that.

  • best band ever

  • Ah the best part is the guitar at :31

  • HOLY SHIT AMAZING

  • Tomas without hat = really weird

  • To any guitarists out there, is the first part of the video hard on guitar at all? Just wondering.

  • not at all unless you've never finger picked before

  • no, not bad

  • wheres he's hat? and why does mike have he's hat on forward? streetlight's hat fucking us

  • I love how they added the intro from a call to arms.

  • i think i'm one of like 3 people that listens to Streetlight and still calls it Ska out here in the San Fernando Valley

  • It's called Skalnoky.

  • D:

where did the clarinet part go?

(was there even a clarinet part?)

  • yeah in the song there was

  • Yeah in the song it is definitely clarinet and not alto sax. Clarinet is so much better than sax in that song :(

  • in your opinion it is. I think the sax is WAY better, but thats also MY opinion

  • Well my opinion is probably biased b/c I play clarinet. I also used to play alto sax and I hated it. I just didn't like it as an instrument.

  • I think this is the first live version of any streetlight song where Tomas does not have a hat on.

Only a small detail, that, because this song kicks major ass.

  • woah wtf? did he lose it? haha

  • How did Camus did really die that night? Were they right, when he died was it really his time? Or was is suicide

    FUCK

  • lol conti looks out of place on an alto

  • Comment removed

  • ...isn't there another part to this song??

  • yeah but the perfer milwaukee the best! They came 3 times last year!!! And each time was better than the last, except for the last lolz, jim conti couldn't play b/c of his mouth problem, but he played flute!!!

  • anytime you can see Streetlight in Pittsburgh is a special time. Ive seen them about 6 times now 3 of which in Pittsburgh, and you can tell they prefer it here

  • Is that why they didn't stop there on the Fall tour?? They stopped in Cleveland though. :)

  • Come January, it'll be their 4th time in Denver in less than a year. Damn they love us. And they put on one hell of a show here.

  • Maybe they are Broncos fans? :)

  • Could be! Although the logic in that is so lacking.... whatever floats their candy cane. And yes, that analogy makes no sense either.

  • I envy you. I've only seen them once. They only played a 20 minute set too:(

  • that sucks so bad lol ou missed out big time

  • esos metales son lo maximo, no hay banda de ninguna de las 3 olas que los iguale

  • my band is playing there sep 13th

  • I want SLM to record They Provide The Paint.....

and put it on their new album. it would be epic

  • sickest band ever

  • I never was a groupie and I never will. Just would love them to pass nearby. Too ..... (look up yourselfs)

  • sweettttttt........ya go street light for ever!!!!!

  • wtf happened to the epic middle part

i saw them in april and jimmy got hit in the face with a sax so he wasn't there and all the sax solos n shit were played on the beri

it was amazing best concert ever

  • wow, they are amazing

    absolutely amazing live

  • STREETLIGHT FOREVER!!!!

  • it's not said like it looks said like the dude has it below Cah-moo

america is just gay and americatizes everything.

  • or we just pronounce shit as it looks according to the english language, which i guess makes us uncultured.

so we're either cultured snobs or arrogant uncultured pricks. lose lose? i think so. oh wait. maybe you're just retarded.

  • ok, so it sounds like he says camur in the beginning, but isnt it camus?

  • it's Camron

  • whos that?

  • What'chu talking about?

    It's not Camron.

It's Camus, he probably just fucked up a little.

  • it is camus

  • Yea, Albert Camus (pronounced cah-moo)

  • sllent "s"

  • Albert Camus, a nobel prize winning existentialist philosopher, who died in a car accident, is what he says in the beginning. The song is wrought with allusions to literature/philosophy/art, so it must be Camus, which is pronounced "Camoo"

  • ok, so it sounds like he says camur in the beginning, but isnt it camus?

  • the people in the front r standin there like durs!!!

i mean god damn ur at a streetlight manifesto concert

    SKANK IT UP!!

  • I love Reel Big Fish. My only problem with themi is they're to pop. They need more fast paced street punk songs like go away. But they're still good for a pop influenced band. But still sonic boom six sucks and streetlight kicks ass.

  • Wow.... Was watching Mary Wilson of The Supremes "Here's To Life" on the tube, + thought I'd check this out. Its not what I thought, but these guys are great....

Check out Mary Wilson on the Tube.....

  • Once Again, I agree with you, friend! I did the SAME THING! AND, I echo your 'words'!

    "Here's To LIFE"!

    C.J.

  • Wow lots of Ska bands suck live, but these guys are pretty awsome.

Of course, watching a video on Youtube isnt really live, but Ilove the trumpet improvisations that arent in the normal song :)

    5 stars.

  • I saw them at the Fall of Ska tour with Westbound Train, Subruban Legends, and Reel Big Fish (a video of that show is on YouTube, actually. search for Canopy Club Fall Of Ska and you will find it). Westbound was ok, Legends was fun as all hell, SM was AMAZING of course. I didn't last to see RBF though.

Almost elbowed the guitarist of Legends in the face during a good moshing to this very song actually, lol.

  • what is the last album that Tomas(singer)Did WITH CATCH 22?c'EST quoi le dernier cd que tomas a fait avec catch 22 thank for answer

  • Keasby Nights. It was also the only one he did with them.

  • Woooo same first name!!!

  • i like real big fish by the way

  • they got a new trumpeter, the new guys black so its ok

  • Matt Stewart

  • You have a lot of nerve to say Reel Big Fish sucks. They put on the best live show just because they are hilarious guys. My favorite band by far is Streetlight Manifesto. The only album I don't like is RBF's latest album, but their live show is so much more charismatic and interactive for the fans. I think they put on a hell of a show. But they are not bad you little cunt rag.

  • Reel Big Fish isn't good. I mean unless you like the same thing for over 5 years, or renaming a song and putting it on the another album is cool too.

    Streetlight > RBFags any day

  • how does reel big fish blow u fucking losers if u like ska u gotta like the fish yo

  • LO MAXIMO ESOS WEYES

  • hell of a talent

  • I was there! :D

  • Botar version is better in every way, in my opinion. So much better harmonies and I love the french horn part in Botar version.

  • FUCKING AWESOME

  • i like the botar version of the chorus better but not anything else

  • I agree

  • VERY VERY great Show!

Im going to see them in january......the best Ska-Punk bend ever!

  • seein em in february. they're supporting reel big fish, along with sonic boom six.

  • Me too! What gig you at? I'm at Liverpool :D

  • (s)exeter :D:D:D:D

shame reel big fish and sonic boom are playing, they're shit. when I bought tickets thought it was just streetlight.

  • Yeah, RBF blows. But it'll be worth it to see Streetlight, they are great live. Saw them in Cleveland at the Agora.

  • agreed

  • This version kicks so much ass, especially at 0:36.

  • Why did Delano quit?

  • I wish I knew....New guys pretty good though

  • delano went back to school

  • joe satriani - midnight

    anyone?

  • Totally different, sir.

Satch's thing is tapping first of all.

And they don't really sound anything alike.

  • Mr. Smalls is fucking awesome. And so is Streetlight.

  • I was there Streetlife for life

  • east coast ska is waaay better than west coast

  • u are soo right

  • I WAS THERE.

    I think.

  • yeah okay don't insult people when you obviously don't know anything about the band and Tom. Keasbey Nights, BOTAR, and Streetlight are all just Tom. Who has attained demi-god status in my opinion. And whats wrong with a circle pit? No good rudie is here to mosh in a circle pit, but to skank and have a jovial time. Who wants to stand in a crowd where no one moves? Either you guys are boring, or you've never been to Florida.

  • i agree, and circle pits kick ass

  • You gotta come to southern calli

We got the best circle skanking this side of the universe.

  • Why are you guys getting angry?

Isn't Streetlight an extension of BOTAR? Let's just enjoy the music...

  • Isnt the intro of this from a BOTAR song?

  • BOTAR covered this song and improved it i belive

  • The intro is indeed from BOTAR.

It's the song called Intro: This Is A Call To Arms.

However, the horns are changed a bit in this version.

  • thats y i said improved u fuck

  • Errr, excuse me?

  • BOTAR recorded it two years before streetlight. Tomas went on to form Streetlight and then streetlight covered it.

    u fuck.

  • Gimp pwns all

  • i saw them a couple nights ago at the opera house in toronto... they were amazing, but unfortunatly i left before the encore, which was this song :[

  • I was there too. Fucking great, I just wish the fuckers didn't rush the stage. Hard to enjoy the music when instead of skanking, everyone is raping you.

  • lol yea, i collected so much foriegn sweat that my fingures pruned... and now i have a fucking cold, lol

  • LOL I smelt SO bad afterwards. Whatever, the phrase "This has been the best night of my life" still comes to mind!! Seriously, I could've lost my life, and I would have lost my life, but now I'm fine LOL

  • MY GOD I KNOW. i was at the front of the stage and i had a panic/asthma attack. but im going to see them again in november

  • oh shit... another show? when? when? when? lol

  • november 12 but its in CT

  • CT as in connecticut?

  • omg where?

  • hartford ct

  • hahahaha jesus christ i know! i was the guy who kept yelling "CIRCLE", ugh didn't work. we don't want to see you slammin' in the pits!... regardless, it was an amazing show. november what? ill be at the next show for sure too.

  • Streetlight = AMAZING when playing live. Thanks for coming to Buffalo, guys. And I here about a Buffalo show again in November?

  • The Guy humping the Baritone ROCKS TO THE MAX!!!

  • He works in a coffeeshop right around from my school, he's smoked with my friends in the back.

  • pomal bo,

  • this video is really good - awesome performance

  • thats awesome. great quality. im addicted to this album.

  • wow this audio is pretty damn good.

  • i just saw them last night at the electric factory (philly) and they were fucking incredible they were the only band i went nuts for i still like LTJ and RBF but streetlight is the best live

  • Yea dude! I saw then last night at the avalon in Boston. The best performance I've seen from them. After they finished their set I was ready to leave, I only go to RBF concerts to see Streetlight haha. They played a new song that I can't find on youtube, but it was AWE-AND-THEN-SOME. I can't wait for their new Cd

  • dude i was at that show, it was awesome

  • In the 2:40's some kid is getting pushed above the crowd then he runs into that big body guard looking guy. Its quite funny. By the way, this song is amazing.

  • Im so pumped for the 15th of july, STARLAND BALLROOM!!! NJ knos what im talking about

  • i cant wait till july 16 when i get to see em live!!!

i hope they play this song its my favorite

  • I WAS THERE!!!!

  • lucky bastard!!! i really want to see them

  • Is it just me, or does hemingway have a weird sigh.. HERES TO LIIIIIIIIIFE!

  • Lol, it's:

Hemingway never seemed to mind the banalities of a normal life and I find..gets harder every time...so he aimed his shotgun into the blue, placed his face inbetween the two and sighed...HERE'S TO LIIIFE!!!

    Not:

Is it just me, or does Hemingway have a weird sigh.. Here's to LIFE!!!

  • You know what i meant...

  • whoa streetlight's my favorite band EVER. ska kick ass. this isn't their best song, but hey, anything from the first album is amazing. well... and second too lol

  • Tomas Kalnoky = God

  • Agreed

  • Kurt Cobain is mentioned in this song :( RIP

  • Kurt Cobain died years ago, get over it :)

  • Screw you.

  • awesome video, i saw them 2 nights earlier in boston. front row =]. they opened with a moment of violence, and not even 10 seconds in, the crowd broke down the baricade thing and put a hole in the front of the avalon's stage. craziest show ive ever been to

  • Everybody had a great show that night, but I think these guys took. Bari!

  • This was an amazing concert, Streetlight, my favorite band, was especially great. To whoever filmed this: my friends and I must've been standing right next to you, cuz that's the same veiwpoint we had. Sweet recording, this is awesome.

  • thats is one bitchin intro...they didnt play that intro when i wsaw them on this tour... yea halloween at House of Blues awesome

  • I've never heard a band that sounded so good live. Damn that alto solo is awesome. The alto is awesome throughout the song actually.

  • Jim Conti is nothing short of amazing.

  • Mike brown is no Dan ross, but he's good. But no one is as close as good as Jim. Born and raised in Carteret. Carteret PRIDE! and that's what Jim has.

  • Yeah...he's amazing...and his sax is pretty sweet too

  • nice that was a good show way too crowded tho.

  • Bari sax love <3

Hate to admit it, but the alto solo was beautiful.

but the tenor and bari still own.

  • haha nice

  • good quality do u have anymore?
