great review my man. One question though: how does the game feel on the ps3? I really liked BC2 (and i've been playing BF3 since bf1942) and I hear a lot of negative comments :( Will DICE patch up the input lag and how is the hit detection?
Character control feels a lot like BC2....except with prone added.
Vehicles feel like BC2, but with added bonuses and an extra weapon that can loaded via kit. In BC2, you had a vehicle upgrade slot in your kit. Now your kit has 3 slots for each vehicle type.
Planes feel just like 1942/1943's planes.....but faster. Same controls and game play principle.
@pedi007 Guns aren't as flimsy as they were in BC2( something I sorta hated in BC2 but the game was too fun for that to get in the way of my enjoyment). They feel like they have power, appropriate to their caliber, while maintaining the recoil.
I think I talked about this a bit, but had to cut it from the video because it was getting too long.
If you liked Bad Company 2, this is a great sequel that plays like it, but with maps more like BF2's urban stuff. PS3 gets map packs a week early too.
Trust me people when I say that Battlefield 3 is THE best FPS I have ever played! I am a fan of the COD series and will be picking up MW3 but in terms of team based action that really delivers on every level, no one does it better than DICE. More to the point is that if MrDaBucket gives it the ok then it has to be good as this man does give praise lightly! Pick up the game and marvel at its beauty!

@pedi007 I figure I have to know if I ever plan on making my own games, which I do. :)
Also, the lag and stuff has been patched on PS3, and should be minimal at the most ever.
