The notes you're playing on your right hand would sound better if they were rolled. but other than that it sounds good :] i played this my sophomore year in high school. made it to state
I was recently working on this one, and I noticed that you were not rolling with the right hand. I believe (according to the music and LHS's recording) that you are supposed to use independent rolls on the right hand for the melody. Try listening to LHS's recordings, since he arranged it himself. Other than that, very nice playing :)
This is quite interesting. I have friend that have played this before and found it extremely odd. I don't think it sounds so bad and you did a good job as far as I would know.
Great musicality!

Ivan Sings
1. would sound a million times better with rolls on the right hand
2. keep a steady tempo
3. there are only 2 ritards you played like 7
4. at :53 there is an 'a tempo' which means go back to the original tempo.... you played a little faster than necessary

How cool to listen to it on a xylophone! And why this work is never recorded? Only here in YouTube I can find sobe of the pieces performed.

nice playing. and yes, the circles on steven's note stems indicate an independent roll, but great playing
