runescape is really a bad game.... it has so many users for few reasons 1.Many people have crappy comps so they can't play better rpg:s on their comp so they play runescape 2. many little kids that cannot speak english well from foreign countries or just ain't that good to play rpg's play it as their first game since it's simple and easy 3. there is alot cheats in it and you can have multiple accounts 4. when it came out it was really popular so people still want to try it... here's few reasons

Wow does suck. Its only number one cause its specifically designed to be addictive according to a psychological breakdown of irregular rewards. The only "good" mmo I've played(out of alot) was guild wars. Mainly cause grinding for hours on end wasn't how you succeeded in it, it was just story and content and beautifully artwork(seriously everything is modeled after beautiful concept art). The strategy in every battle required is much more than every single other mmo I've played.
