  • I love the tutorial. I am definitely going to try it.

  • Beautiful! I think I can handle this if I can find my fantasy film. LOL Thanks so much for this tut!

  • fabulous

  • Hello Rachel, can you tell me what the difference is between embossing powder and the embossing enamel you are using in this video,

    thanks

    ~L~

  • @judix2000 It's the size of the crystals that are different. UTEE has larger crystals and is more suited to techniques like this, otherwise you'd need numerous coats of regular EP in order to get a layer thick enough to stamp into.

  • @RachO113 that's great, thanks Rachel. I just love watching your videos! I'm definately going to try this technique, amazing! I'm so excited to try!!!

  • I too love your ideas I am saving my money to buy the supplies! They are absolutley beautifull! thanks for such a wonderfully detailed instructional video! Can you use the shrink wrap for easter baskets, in place of the fantasy film? Also can you use a non name brand ink to do the embossing & stamping? I love your accent are you from England? I have a friend here in the states whose Mum is from England she lives her but still has her british citizenship she too has a lovely accent! Tessa~~~

  • Thank You sooooo so much RACH this is a huge help for me so I can use the supply you so kindly sent for me to give a go at and play with.....AWESOME!

  • I love your work! It is the finest I've ever seen on Youtube. Absolutely beautiful!

  • Love the technique and love, love, love your voice.

  • Hello

Just wondering what stamps you used for these 3 projects?

  • @hanneke1953 On the sample pieces I show at the start, the swirly stamp is by Cherry Pie, and the diamond patterned stamp is by Stampers Annonymous. The Bingo stamp used during the tutorial is by Tim Holtz.

  • @RachO113

    Love them very much!

    Thank you for the info!

  • @hanneke1953

Thank you so much......love these very, very much!

  • Anzstrnds. Very cool technique....will try once I find my fantasy film.

  • thanks for sharing,,,5 stars

  • Oh and by the way. I'm just starting out with things like embossing powder and such and when crafters say a thick embossing powder I wonder how you know if an embossing powder is thick? I haven't seen the Pipe Dream one you use in my country:) We don't get all the Tim Holtz things here either only the inks and stickles, so it takes ages to find a substitute for everything people here use:)

  • Hello there:) These are very beautiful and I should love to try and make one but I have a question or two. The fantasy film is that something you get specificly to make this? I think it looks like what we call cellofan here which we get in long rolls and most often use when we wrap something like a gift basket. I think it's made of some kind of plastic. It is difficult for us Europeans to immitate American artwork:) The white embossing powder which kind is that? Thank you!!

  • I Love your tutorial, i'm going to try your technique on a fake nail, I love the look. THANK YOU FOR THE INSPIRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love it! I need to try that one day!

  • wow wonderful video ! where do you get the film ? i have seen the frames and the glass at Michaels . HUGS, Janie

  • Hi, thanks for your comment. The fantasy film is readily available in most craft shops and online stores here. I believe that "Art Institute" is an American company though, so it should be easy enough to find in the States. Try googling it if Michael's don't carry it.

  • Ok thanks !
