American media is weird. When Obama was ellected, all the media made him look like the good guy and that he was so cool, etc, etc, and it made american people vote for him. Maybe they really want him to be elected because they have major reasons. I do not like Dr. Ron Paul, but sadly even if he finishes second or third in South Carolina he will still have a chance of becoming the new President of the United States of America. I do not like Dr. Paul because he wants to lower taxes after a few years in charge if possible and he actually wants to stop foreign aid to nations like China and Mexico, which is morally wrong in my view. He is apparently even loved in Great Britain, and I thought the British had some sense, but obviously not.

Also, why you all hating on Barack? He is doing a good job. I think unemployment is much lower than it was in 2008, and the economy is doing well. He said he would get a hold on the national debt problem and he is doing just that. All this talk of bankcruptcy is silly because the debt is getting smaller. anyway, debt is not a big problem. most countries have worse debts than the USA. I just hope that the millions of Mexican-Americans stay true to themselves and vote against Ron Paul.

I do not like Dr. Ron Paul, but sadly even if he finishes second or third in South Carolina he will still have a chance of becoming the new President of the United States of America. I do not like Dr. Paul because he wants to lower taxes after a few years in charge if possible and he actually wants to stop foreign aid to nations like China and Mexico, which is morally wrong in my view. He is apparently even loved in Great Britain, and I thought the British had some sense, but obviously not.

Ron Paul is a far-right TX Republican, out of alignment with his lousy party only in terms of foreign policy and well to the right of it on most issues. If you have liberal/progressive values, you could never support a candidate who is against Civil Rights, women's rights, gay rights, workers' rights, and sensible financial and environmental regulation. Keep in mind that Ron Paul's son Rand is every polluter's best friend in the Senate.

It takes lots of money to air those commercials.

I use prayer & faith and then just 'hang' and wait for the results. I am a firm believer that the Father will provide our needs and of course we have to show Him we are deserving of a true champion and He will make him ours. What would Ron Paul do if China invaded Taiwan or China invaded Canada? Anyone know his stance on Taiwan? Or on Chinese aggression or the potential for it? Reading the constitution is NOT the entire answer to this question, I would like to know specifically where HE stands on it. I don't need some 18 year old telling me about the constitution. I've read it several times and already familar with it!... BUT thanks anyway!

@RMMHS4RP However, he does not believe the President can make decisions on war and peace on his own. He would consult the Congress. If they believed such action on the part of China was a serious threat, he would not do anything until they declared war, as was done with Japan and Germany in WWII. Even if the Congress decided against declaring war, RP believes that it is your right to devote your money and your life to securing Taiwan independence.

I don't think Taiwan being taken over by China would put us in any sort of danger.
But if it did, RP would constitutionally go before CONGRESS (like every President should) to decide if military action is necessary.
Then there would be a declaration of war.
We would have a clear mission. We would get in there, we would win it and then we would come home.
