The Clavinova is the best key board that I have ever played, I have moved from a tyros 2. Although I have limited experience I am amazed at the music that I can make. I did'nt start playing until 3 years ago but I am hooked. I wish that I had started years ago when I was younger, I am now in my late sixties, so its never to late to start.

How does the CVP-509 compare to a Roland Fantom G8

the CVP 509 is in a different league in my opinion... however, thats not to say that the G8 isn't an awesome piece of kit, because it is.

Also the G8 is for stage use and the CVP 509 isn't so they are really comparable from a usage perspective...
