  • Steve Strayhorn was the an impeccable musician & a great guy. I was very sad to hear of his passing.

  • Full Moon Consort, STL Shieks, Aeromemphis, Faustus, they all deserved better at some point. Unfortunately it was very difficult to get out of the Midwest at that time. Oh if we had the internet then. Bands like Griffin, Effic, Driver, Footloose & others would also would of had much more traction.

  • I always felt this band deserved a lot better than they got. To this day, I consider them to be hugely influential to me, especially Joe Marshall's playing (one of St. Louis' *finest* guitarists), Steve's drumming (one of two top drummers in St. Louis, for me), Joe's complementary voice and solld bass, and Chuck's soaring vocals and wonderful compositions. Yeah, for me, they were, and still, *that* good.

  • I loved Full Moon... used to see them at Stonehenge . Miss them, they were very talented.

  • I was in 2 or 3 bands in the St Louis area in the 70's, and this is the band that we went to hear when we had a free night. I see that Steve Strayhorn is still active. How about Joey Marshall?

  • @Tique66 This is one of Joey Marshall's daughters. Regrettably, Steve Strayhorn passed away several months ago, and my father is currently in the hospital. He has been very sick for a long time so he doesn't play much in public anymore. But despite all his medical issues, he still plays a mean guitar! What bands were you in? My dad loves to hear names from the past. I am so glad that others enjoy his music as I do!

  • @ramonac211 I hope your father recovered! This was one of my favorite albums of all time and I have been heartbroken for decades that it got lost in a move. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have found these songs *finally* uploaded to Youtube. I was beginning to think I was the only one in the world who remembered this band. All the best to you and your dad.
