Slight trivia mistake in this clip..He says the coin is from 1958 and it's been traveling 22 years to get here which means it is 1980 when this scene is supposedly taking place. Yet you can see packages of Jack Links beef jerky hanging behind him with a logo which wasnt used until after the year 2000.

Such a brilliant scene. Sigur is so crazy, but at the same time, it almost makes sense. If Sigur really is just a force of evil, then the coin is a fitting way to decide the fate of the attendant. The actions of their lives led them to that point, arbitrary though it may seem. It is however, just a coin.
