I was relistening to some old music on a long drive down a dusty desert road when this song came on. It instantly sent scintillating shocks of electricity down my spine and the hairs on the back of my neck stood straight like hairy spikes. My body felt like it was coursing energy for the entire song and as soon as it ended I was in pure bliss and harmony with the world. Life is an epic movie and only deserves the best soundtrack. Ha ha, the Top Gear heads searching round frantically to find out where this tune came from.. I did the same when I first saw the BMW ad and found it. They found it was a variation on Beethovens 9th and started listening to that, then the 7th and 5th and then Mozart. Usually when bands / DJs try and mix old tracks they spoil them - but Unkle have actually improved (dare I say) Beethoven's 9th - I hear the protests already! Anyway, I will be posting a video to the track for submission to a few film fests - thanks to Unkle who support creatives working on shoestring budgets - great artists and nice blokes too ;)

I think their decision should be respected and understood. But it takes a genius... I really like the use of different sounds in the piece - that distorted almost high powered motor-cycle sound. When you combine this with the piano it does make for a timeless classic. You can virtually write a script around the music. Take the end sound at 04:17. Great potential for film there I tell you. I just hope they let me use it - although having been down this road before....mmm
