  • I've only ever travelled First Class on Pendolinos before, and i'm happy to see that yourself has sampled the excellent service on offer in First Class on Virgin Pendolinos :) Preston based staff are by far the best though :)

  • i'm so glad i live near mk central,

so i can use the pendolinos regularly

  • Pendolino, A Distant Dream for the CrossCountry Line. SuperVoyager All the Way man. I Will do a vid as i am going to see my dad in Doncaster so I will make a Vid Responce at as many stops as i can before the battery dies ;)

  • I have Virgin Train on Microsoft Train Simulator that I drive often. Its First Class cabin is just like this one. :-)

  • its a class feeling bein on one ovf those love them trains do u not use hornby though

  • Nice to see a video from another 1st class traveller. Never gone from Picadilly, just Preston. Pendolino service spot on!

  • It's also 2hrs 10 non stop from preston to london.

You can get into first class quite cheap these days if you book online.

  • How long was the journey?

  • 2.5 hours, roughly.

  • GNER first is better

  • GNER is better overall.

Shame NEEC is taking over. Lol NEEC.

  • 2.5 hours? Is this via Stoke or Crewe?

  • it'll be via stoke, as the euston-bound pendolinos that pass through crewe come from liverpool lime street. manchester > euston services go through stoke.

  • Your forgetting Holyhead, Llandudno and Scotland Pendos pass through Crewe as well.

Funnily enough, I found a service from Piccadilly to Euston that goes through BOTH Crewe and Stoke.
