U can just take the bedding out clean it with a non-scented wipe and put bedding and put the stuff back and put the top and everything back u know.. ( im not judging you and I'm just giving you a opinion but if it's your hammie's cage, your way :)

You have a hamster and you can not even wash the cage. Should never be used for any substance in the cage for cleaning, only water.

And for syrian hamsters 60 x 40 so it is just too small

@jshfrancis6 Bathing your hamster with water is dangerous. To much water can make them get stressed and they can die. If I were you I would check out sand baths. There are MANY videos for sand baths. Sorry if I'm too late. Hope this helped! :) Have fun with your lil hammie!

your not allowed to use your hands to touch there bedding, you are only allowed to touch the hamster and to pet it, i suggest wherein rubber gloves as if you even wash your hands after it still doesn't get 100% of there bacteria of, and also your not allowed to put there home in soap water as when they start to scratch there teeth on it if the soap gets into there mouth they will start to throw up btw.

Well, you don't really have to take everything apart because you can always just take the top of the cage off by unhooking the side latches. =)

there is another way:

1- get a bowl or a box

2- put your hamster food in it

3- put its bedding

4- take out the cages parts

5-spray them.

6-clean them

7-put them back

8- put your hamster back in!

I just saw this..without seeing the videos..I think I did much simple than this..I had a BIG Cage...I use a big size garbage bag..,a pail and a container full of water...plus a BIG towel..hihi... I just clean my cage too...and I dun used soap...I just used a cage cleaner/anti bacteria especially for rodents ..in a pet shop...to avoid..chemical reaction to the animals...
