I met Georgie Porgie in 92 in the studio when this song was on the radio, he was nice but i didnt think he was that great of a singer. I think the only reason he got the chance to make these records is because of "social politics" he is a straight "white looking" latin male which made him more marketable to a wider audience. That was the main reason. I liked Jamie Principle a lot more and he had a house CD but it didn't do anything maybe because he was black and gay/bi.

Georgie porgie was from my neighborhood in Chicago, and then moved to London. Good stuff from the late 80's!
