You just have to try it. I open a bottle at about 1 1/2 weeks, if it tastes good and well carbonated, then I put the rest in the fridge. It is kind of like you are steeping a tea for flavor... but since there is yeast, if you let it sit too long you will get too much of a brewed flavor. I hope that helps at least a little. I kind of had to play with that part with each different root beer extract I got.
It shouldn't be ruined, but it may not be as carbonated as it would otherwise. What you want to do at this point put it in a cool, dark place for 1-2 weeks. :)
Does your home made root beer have a lot of carbonation? And I've read you get some sediment at the bottom of the bottles, is there a way to filter this then rebottle? Thanks for the video!
I love the dumpster diving, cooking, animals and craft vids : ) BTW I love garage sales also. Our big community garage sale is at the end of July and it runs sat & sun. I hav my sale all day sat then I go out on sun shopping. Its always in the high 90*s so most ppl go inside and have signs that say everything 25 cents each or fill a bag for $1 cause they just want it all gone :) I make several trips with my car packed lol
Okay, great! Those are basically all the categories I love to make videos on most! :) Happy Mother's Day, by the way! Garage saling in your neighborhood sounds awesome!!! :)
