Good that you mention only gainseville coins they're dependable and do good business. The one dealer I can mention where they will do you like MFglobal and that is Provident metals. I ordered some silver dimes and they threw in 2010 dimes some above 1965 quarters. and I have told people to stay away from these crooks. I received 4emails in the last 2 weeks from buyers who have had similar stories. some even had money stolen from them. stay away from this company jsnip knows the right sellers
It's so cool that you DON'T understand dollar-cost-averaging. If you're buying 1 coin at $40, then you'll buy 2 coins at $20 ($40 again). Now you've got THREE coins at average $26.67 apiece.
I'm still waiting on my 200oz silver delivery I purchased at 40$/oz (in July). Looks like I might end up with a few more oz's at the rate the paper SLV is going. I was happy with the 200oz but I'll gladly take more if I can :)
jsnip- I just TRIPLED my money with numismatics- you are hoping for a double I am experiencing a triple! Verify this- US Army half dollar (uncirculated) $20 from the US Mint 2 weeks ago- today $89 on ebay- I would link these but youtube will not let me- easy to verify though search "Army half" under us coins on ebay
I was in a coin shop today and they were sold out of silver bullion and almost sold out of gold coins. They said they were selling lots now on this dip.
What makes me howl with laughter is the Banksters say gold isn't money yet they want everyone's gold to back their worthless paper debts which they created out of thin air. Why do they want gold if it's worthless? Because they are LYING, any idiot with 3 neurons connected knows that gold and silver are real money and so do the corrupt banksters.
currently only thing to do is hold silver/gold but in the long term if people actually want to improve the situation people need to question their government, question the money system, question the concept of legal tender, reject it, start up alternative competeting currenys of all sorts, etc etc etc
@HGSpaceTime Wasn't that lady a stupid moron! That was funny! Normally I don't laugh at people, but she is an exception. She may have been some kind of borg or something but that was soo retarded, God help her husband.
the reason were in a deflationary cycle is that people have no money, only bits in a bank's computer. They aren't printing money, they are hoarding it. Try to make a cash withdrawl over a couple thousand and see what kind of hassles you get. Some banks wont even do it theyll force you to take a cashiers check and report to them how you plan on spending it! The reason were not seeing inflation is because exaclty as you stated, other countries are holding our money.
Gold is backed by it's rarity. Not like diamonds that have perceived rarity due to supplier restrictions on market release. Thank goodness for paper gold and silver keeping the price low temporarily, giving us who know it's real value a chance to get more. Happy New Year!
@62636263c not true, rhodium and platinum is much much more rare, yet gold has a high spot price, hmmm. palladium will go through the roof because of its possible cold fusion properties.
@TheDonovan68 I am very sure that there are things more rare, but gold has a history as well, and is just rare enough, but not too rare.Too rare is also a problem. Gold sets in the sweet spot all by itself in that it is rare enough and is not used in large amounts for purposes that storing wealth. Most of the gold ever mined is still here, unlike many other metals. Once fiat and paper gold evaporate, gold will be pretty much a constant in it's intrinsic value. Rare not only in qty.
Gold ended with a 10% increase for the eleventh year in a row. Gold is an investment for your future and silver is good for spending. I personally would rather put my dollars into Gold rather then let them sit in a bank. In 30 years I will be up about 300% in profits, inflation will be dealt with, and so on.

Hi Joe ~ Happy New Year to You and Yours !
Question: Gold has not improved Indias quality of living. Maybe trade a gold bangle bracelet for medical. How it enhanced their life at all?
