I, like many here, agree 100% with RP's stance on Iraq and find his opinion extremely refreshing, but he is radically conservative on almost every other issue from abortion to gun control to education, ect. It seems to me that many people are rooting for him based on his war stance and completely ignoring the rest. I respect anyones decision to support RP if they agree with the majority of his stances, but make sure you agree with most of them, not just the Iraq one.
One of the things I LOVE about Ron Paul, is his belief in individual and state rights. If people in CA want something bad enough, they can make it happen at a State level, and so on for other states.

not state taxes, the federal income tax that takes a huge chunk out of the check that i get every 2 weeks. i saw a documentary on a farmer who was in court for not paying. he said "just show me the law that makes me have to pay, and i will". he was aquitted.

I agree with your support of Mike Gravel almost across the board. He's generally a strict constitutionalist, but I'm unclear as to his stance on gun ownership.
As far as Kucinich goes, I like his stance on the war but I am totally opposed to his vision of socialized medicine and 100% amnesty to illegal immigrants. Free market FTW! Down with the nanny state!

I, like many here, agree 100% with RP's stance on Iraq and find his opinion extremely refreshing, but he is radically conservative on almost every other issue from abortion to gun control to education, ect. It seems to me that many people are rooting for him based on his war stance and completely ignoring the rest. I respect anyones decision to support RP if they agree with the majority of his stances, but make sure you agree with most of them, not just the Iraq one.

One of the things I LOVE about Ron Paul, is his belief in individual and state rights. If people in CA want something bad enough, they can make it happen at a State level, and so on for other states.

The economy is the other huge issue. Most understand that we are going broke. Being fiscally conservative like no other and with plans to cut 1 trillion by closing 750 foreign bases and strengthening key programs like Social security are fundamental. With out a strong dollar and economy, we will not be able to afford to continue as we are anyway.

I am a veteran and my wife is AF reserve and has been to Iraq 3 times now. The facts are always twisted. We both would say we want to win the the war if the question is asked properly.
