  • Sounds Great!

  • Lol damn. I have a 06 right now and I have flowmasters and I'm so tired of the drone it drives me crazy. But I'm one of those people that is very picky about the way a exhaust sounds so I'm taking my time lol.

  • The best affordable combo I have heard (next to my current one) and got tons of compliments on was the Steeda Axleback (with the stinger mufflers) and the SLP Longtubes with the Catted X. My current setup = no drone. THe other thing you can do is weld in resonators to kill the drone.

  • Think open header...

  • Yeah I saw it too. My ears hurt lol I can only think how loud your new set up is at WOT.

  • I did like the setup. The sound was great. I noticed a lot more power down low when I put the long tubes and cats back on. I am really happy with my current setup though. The corsas are amazing.

  • Nevermind lol I just saw your other vid. Did you like the setup?

  • Check engine light on with the x pipe? And you wouldnt have anymore vids with this setup would you? I'm very interested in this exhaust.

  • alright man i have an 07 GT and i have a granatelli cold air intake, with the calibrated mass air flow sensor, and SLP loudmouth axle-back.

    Im looking to do 4.10's

whats your opinion on the 4.10's?

  • I had the 4.10s in the 04 and loved them. I put them on the 08 and they were awesome. I stepped up to 4.30's last week and if I knew they felt this great, I would have skipped the 4.10's. At 70mph I'm @ 2500RPM! 200RPM difference from the 4.10's. MPG is minimal as well 2.3 miles to the gallon less. I say 4.30s for the win!

  • Wow 4.30's?

Thats a new idea lol i haven't had any of the guys i know around here do those yet... What brand did you go with?

I have narrowed it down to Ford Racing 4.10's whenever i get the funding lol but i might research the 4.30's as well!

    Thanks!

  • FRPP 4.30's They whine a bit but it is well worth it for the power you get. I already took out a C6 Vette from 0-90 by about half a car. Granted just 4.30's probably won't get you there but a full bolt on s197 with the 4.30's will.

  • wow alright man thanks i'll do some research on it!

  • i have 4.56's on my mach love it...

  • wats the top speed in each gear with 4.30's? i assume something like 1st to 40 2nd to 60 3rd to 80 and 4th to 100?

  • I haven't really checked to be honest. I don't think 1st makes it to 40mph though. It is really short.

  • ive herd that you need to reprogram the chip on 07-08 mustangs when you put a new exhaust on it or else it loses tourq, did you do anything like that?

  • The only way I lost torque was when I had the o/r x and charge motion delete plates. The CMD lates need a tune with or without o/r x. Now I have SLP long tubes and a catted x pipe. ALL of the torque is back. I dyno'd 310RWHP and 320RWTQ before the LT's. I am dying to dyno it again.

  • thanks,my dasd just bought a new one and was curious about the pypes brand, they soud great by the way.

  • Pypes is awesome, they are a PITA to put in though. Make sure you get a good shop to do it or get the car up high enough.

  • Before I forget though, if you go off-road x pipes with no cats, you need to either get a hand held tuner like an SCT or a Diablosport to turn off the O2 sensors or get the adapters. Tell your dad that the best thing he could get off the bat for that car is a CAI and a tune and gears. Gears are the best bang for the buck. Email me if you have any questions, I'd be glad to help.

  • thanks!

  • thats the best o/r x exhaust ive ever heard the rasp isnt there fucking awesome setup!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is it true that mustang suspention sucks?

  • Depends on the year... The 05+ is extremely stiffer than the previous years. They have come a long way that is for sure. Still, there is room for improvement just like any car.

  • you should hear those mufflers with a prochamber =]. The prochamber and my stingers sound incredible but your car sounds great too.

  • Is the prochamber o/r? I had one in my 04 and absolutely loved the sound.... I may swap them if they are. Do you have any vids???

  • it is an o/r pipe and sounds great.I do have some videos but as you know they never do an exhaust system justice. It is much louder in person and the mufflers rumble a lot more. It won't let me post a link so just type in "stingers prochamber" and you'll find my videos

  • Sounds really good man.. If I ever end up changing these - I'll know exactly what to get. Do you know if MAC has a prochamber for a long tube setup? After the S/C goes in I may be looking at that as an option.

  • the prochamber I bought came in 3 pieces. Two down pipes that connect off of the stock manifolds then the prochamber was the 3rd piece. If i'm not mistaken I believe you can take the two down pipes off and replace them with mac long tubes. I was thinking about customizing the prochamber to fit ARH headers

  • Sounds doable - I'll check with my local shop. Still - LT's are a ton of cash so it won't be happening for a while anyway.

  • haha yea tell me about it, I'm in the midst of doing the suspension, rims, and cosmetics. Procharger should be installed around august

  • Boys and their toys lol...

  • Thanks its loud!!!

  • Man I wish I was your neighbor....first that sexy 04' now this! It sounds amazing.

  • Sounds nice bro
