  • I'd like my 51 seconds back please.

  • Speshboy, I thought you had gone away when you would not answer my last question, because you don`t like the truth.PLEASE remind me, did not the police road markings at the scene of the accident involving Abigail Craen indicate that she had stepped out about ONE metre AHEAD of the crossing. The answer is very important, but you can`t face it.

  • @denny174 I refer you to my earlier posts. It's all covered there.

  • You have your point of view.BUT it`s a wide road, 4 lanes of traffic, and when busy I have seen old people nervously trying to cross, even at the distant spaced crossing points.Only 9 seconds allowed to cross.Central SAFE reservations would impact on your ability to cycle down the middle of the road, ( or on the wrong side), so I can understand why you are against them.I also cycle but not as aggressively as you do.Hope you always make it home safely and never hit anyone stepping between cars.

  • @denny174. The Local Authority are very good at responding to requests to review timings of light phases. I suggest you contact them if you're really concerned. That section of road has shared-use pavements on both sides, so the fact that it's blocked with cars during rush hour doesn't affect cyclists. The speed camera is there to slow down dangerous drivers, and it works. Speeding tickets are voluntary fines. Don't speed - don't pay.

  • @Speshboy.The Local Authority, led by Len Gregory, are totally NEGLIGENT.Their priority is to clean up AFTER accidents as quickly as possible, and keep the stories OUT OF THE MEDIA.Take a detour down Sir Harrys Road, view the Pershore Road crossing outside Hunter Court.A TREE one metre for the crossing is a massive danger as it OBSTRUCTS the view of people waiting to cross, and hides them especially at night.Len Gregory REFUSES to do anything, despite 2 students being killed.See my other clips.

  • Len Gregory is not the leader of the council. As I said, if you are concerned about the timing of the lights, there's a reporting form on the website.

  • Len Gregory IS the responsible person, HEAD of Transportation Birmingham. The light timing is NOT the issue, it is always a STANDARD time of about 8 seconds. The issue is general irresponsibility of the council, HIDING the accident figures, COVERING UP evidence of accidents, holding inquests in SECRET, FAILING to provide safe crossing points, FAILING to maintain road markings. We NEED 2m advance STOP lines.Len Gregory is going to be Birmingham`s next Lord Mayor ! I hope he does that job better.

  • @denny174 I know who Len Gregory is. Crossing timings vary dependent on the road concerned. Drivers should always exercise caution until they are sure that the crossing is clear.

  • I don't have the time or inclination to go through all of your clips, so it might help if you provided the proof that your tree was to blame for the student deaths as you claim. Let's hope you're not talking about the student killed on the Pershore Road crossing by a banned, speeding driver.

  • You cycle recklessly yet can`t be bothered to check evidence.YOU HAVEN`T A CLUE,SHERLOCK.Actually I DID provide a folder of evidence to the presiding judge which PROVED that from the impact site BEFORE the crossing that Abigail Craen, UNFORTUNATELY, stepped out, in the DARK, from BEHIND the tree, just AFTER the 8 seconds to cross had elapsed. The Judge KNEW the facts and gave a low sentance, but the ARROGANT C.P.S went to appeal, to placate the media misguided public, unaware of the REALITIES.

  • @denny174 You are talking about a different road.

Abigail Craen was crossing on a green man. She was knocked out of her shoes, some way up the road and killed by a speeding, unlicensed driver who went through a red light some time after it had changed. Those are the realities. She was crossing quite properly, yet the driver killed her.

We should be dealing with these dangerous speeding drivers rather than having to protect pedestrians from them.

  • Abigail crossed on `flashing green man` = do not start to cross. The driver did not brake = he did not see her.The police marked the road impact point BEFORE the crossing = Abigail stepped out from behind the tree.I know the facts(which differ from the media version) but the `Justice for Abigail` campaign DISTORTED the true version in order to sell more papers. I hope YOU did not fall for the distorted version. The driver was not insured and may have been drinking, BUT the tree issue was IGNORED.

  • @denny174 . I'm well aware of the facts. The speeding, unlicensed driver passed a red light and killed a student who was quite properly crossing the road on a green man. He then fled the scene.

See, even when there are proper crossing points for pedestrians idiot drivers still kill. That's why we need safety cameras.

  • The `facts`you are well aware of is the MANIPULATED version issued by the media.Inconvenient TRUTHS are the police road markings showing the impact point and the first WITNESS statements saying`Abigail had the FLASHING Green Man in her favour`, which she assumed in her hurry meant`go for it`.The police and media distortion of truth was DISGRACEFUL, and NO lessons were learnt. That is why the tree which blocks clear view is STILL in place and there is NO safety rail in place.IGNORANCE IS BLISS.

  • @denny174 The young medical student was killed by an unlicensed, uninsured, speeding driver who drove through a red light and knocked the girl a considerable distance down the road. Those are the facts.

  • Everything correct EXCEPT the inconvenient truth that witnesses said `the green man was flashing`, which means the lights WERE NO LONGER RED to traffic, and the MARKED IMPACT POINT was before the crossing. You may wish to SELECTIVELY express the facts in the same way the CPS operate, but IT IS FUNDAMENTALLY WRONG to achieve `real` justice. That is why the crossing STILL remains DANGEROUS.You may know the police HAD NO CLUE WHO THE DRIVER WAS until he HANDED HIMSELF IN, expecting a fair trial,ha.

  • And again, you're confusing your facts, as you did when you confused Bristol and Pershore Roads. Read my last post again. Those are the facts. And it was a hit and run driver, not a nice bloke who decided to give himself up because he thought he'd help the police out. He killed a girl and fled the scene.

  • The only one confused is yourself,Sherlock.I said"take a DETOUR down Sir Harry`s Rd" so I know EXACTLY what is going on.EVERYONE slandered the driver after HE HANDED HIMSELF IN, and now people wonder why the latest hit and run drivers don`t come forward.I KNOW WHY.And poor Abigail, a VERY CLEVER medical student, is dead and virtually forgotten WITH NO LESSONS LEARNT to make the crossing safer.EVEN CLEVER PEOPLE can be tempted to RUSH across a road WITHOUT LOOKING to confirm it really is safe.

  • The girl's killer didn't hand himself in because he'd just killed a student on a pedestrian crossing.

Reducing speed limits saves lives. That's a fact.

Prepare yourself, because 20mph limits are growing, and coming to a town near you. If you don't want to comply, either get off the road or continue your dangerous, speeding behaviour and be removed from the road. End of.

  • The police spend a lot of time TRYING to improve their image, checking out internet sites and posting favourable comments.Lollygaggle was a police plant here 9 months ago.YOU HAVE NOT CONTRADICTED ANYTHING IN MY LAST POSTINGS because the points are TRUE but outside of your comprehension zone.I AM interested in GENUINE road safety and GENUINE justice that is why we need some major changes in West Midlands Police.I bet you have NO IDEA why the last Chief Constable took EARLY RETIREMENT suddenly.

  • You're paranoid. The police are not interested in this kind of confused, poorly researched and misinterpreted nonsense.

40mph minimum speed on a 30mph road. The girl ended up 30m up the road. No skid marks or any sign of braking. The killer said that he didn't see the red light or the girl on the road. He said that he didn't stop because he had no insurance.

Abigail Craen was killed by an inattentive, uninsured, dangerous, speeding driver. Nothing else. She was not killed by a tree.

  • JUST explain why the IMPACT point ( marked in yellow on the road) was about one metre IN FRONT of the crossing, adjacent to the GAP between the traffic lights and the tree.I have taken photographic evidence, as presented to the original judge.LOGICALLY this implies ABIGAIL stepped out through the gap, allowable by the FAILURE to install a safety rail subsequent to the previous accident. I DARE YOU to sensibly explain this point which was kept out of the media.Let`s see how clever you are.

  • The light was red for anything up to 8 seconds as the driver approached, at least a third over the speed limit. Despite this he failed to slow down and killed the student.

  • Oh, and seeing as logic isn't something that you display on here, I can understand why the police aren't interested in your biased witterings. You got done by a speed camera because you were driving dangerously. Get over yourself.

I've said what needs to be. Thank you very much for giving the opportunity on here for it to be shown why speed cameras are successful, and why the only arguments against them come from angry internet posters who have been caught out by them. Examine your motives.

  • Before you back off, having realised you only know the published version, please advise if you agree Abigail was hit 1 metre BEFORE the crossing point. You either agree or disagree, opting out is not an option, and if you agree please explain how this fits your theory. If you don`t agree I will find a way of posting more evidence.RSVP.

  • Read my first post from this morning and you'll understand why 1m is irrelevant, and why I don't need to say anything else. If you can't work it out for yourself then so be it.

  • Speshby, it has been a pleasure dealing with you. It is so interesting to see how you cannot bring yourself to answer the IMPORTANT question, if the impact point really was AHEAD of the crossing.Because no one can face the truth, no improvements have been made. That is why I have a grievance with irresponsible Authorities. If I get a chance I will post further clips to try to explain more.Thank you for your point of view, it helps explain a few things.

  • I DON`T LIKE DANGEROUS SPEEDING.The 85% speed here is about 38mph so virtually EVERYBODY simply brakes as they pass the camera, then go back to normal. If anyone does not anticipate the braking of the car ahead(because there is NO reason other than the camera) there can be an UNNECESSARY accident caused.See my other clips to learn how these accidents are then covered up by keeping the stories out of the media and holding the inquests and trials in SECRET.

  • If you think the speed limit is too low on this road then campaign to get it raised to 40mph. Don't blame the camera!

  • 500 yrs ago, police (kinights of the realm) would hang around, on their horses, in bushes, and then pounce out, on passers by, and fine them for "not wearing a hat" or "being cruel to their horse". Nowadays its speeding.

One day, they will (if given the chance, by a stupid and trusting popualtion) put cameras in your living room, to stop dad form hogging the remote. He will be fined if he intrudes on mothers freedom of choice.

They will ENJOY doing this, cus they are insane !

  • I DON`T AGREE WITH SPEEDING.I WANT BETTER ROAD SAFETY.READ the adjacent text!!

  • if you want to speed, then expect to be banned. stop complaining. I see no issues with the camera. If you lived on the road and your children had to cross over it, then you would want there to be a safe speed. I am sure, as I live near to Bristol road, that you could drive down that road at 70+mph at night. Are you trying to say that driving at that sort of speed is safe at any time of the day, just because it is clear of traffic.

stop your whinning and stop speeding

  • Are we saying that there are no 30mph signs on the approach? Aren't all urban inner-city roads 30mph?

What exactly is the 'trap' aspect? The camera is bright yellow can be seen for hundreds of yards away, so how would a tree 'conceal it further'. Further? It couldn't be in a clearer position and painted a louder colour.

Stop your ridiculous waffle and tell things as they really are.

What ever happened to your claims about targets & bonuses - I asked for proof & got what back?
