I was there for the race. Kyle tried to block Tony and he got turned around. The crash happened right in front of us! It was wild. I still think Nascar needs to ban blocking.

I'm a racecar driver my self that was all of busch's faught if he stayed in the gas he was fast on the bottom line and could have still won. Busch is the dirtiest racer in Nascar I dont like him. He could have won that one if he was racing dirty and blocking he had a good run and was a few feet from the start/finish line.

Stewart is 10x better then Busch. Stewart already had the nose of his car at busch's quarter panel and kyle went up to block when he was already there. Try again. If you play it slowly, you'll see Tony IS moving down the track, but Kyle is moving back UP the track even faster. When Tony realizes this, you can see him swerve up as well to try and minimize the damage, but as they make contact, Tony is forced to cut back to the inside--his two options are he and Kyle both go into the wall, or he spins Kyle and goes on straight. The commentators are correct; it's Busch trying to block when HE isn't clear that causes him to go across Tony's nose.

Dale Jr. has the best equipment and he is still just mediocre. I think it bothers Junior fans when somebody does better than him (Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson). Kyle has always been reckless...it was a bad mistake to try and bluff Tony into giving way. I'm glad he and no one else was hurt but he had it coming. Hopefully, Kyle learned a valuable lesson. You wouldn't have seen that kind of behavior had it been between Jimmie Johnson and Tony .

Looks like Smoke was gettin' Rowdy loose all the way through 3 & 4, don't think Kyle's little move up the track was totally intentional....his a*s was all over the place and some of that was tryin' to catch the car. He did what he needed to do, which is why I love the Wild Thing! He ain't points racin'! Every race with Kyle Busch is made more exciting by him just bein' in it! Rock on Rowdy!

irpie, thank you for your comments. I agree. Tony kept his line. It's too bad for Kyle; misjudged. They were 100 yards from the finish line. Kyle had the lead by about 1/4 car length and was inside the turn as Tony Stewart was moving to the outside; clearly Tony Stewart had the faster car and given enough time would have passed Kyle, but I don't think he could have overtaken him in 100 yards on the outside coming around a corner had Kyle floored it and taken it to the double yellow line.
