Freight rates are so low, and fuel goes up every day, Feds are more and more regulating what we do and I can't wait when I'll be 62 and retire. It's nor fun anymore. I lost my hart for trucking.
I have a Volvo 780 also. I love the truck butt the d13. Volvo engine has been giving me nothing but heartache grief and pain. I have built extra cabinets into my truck and I dint own a cb radio or television. There are nothing but emitygeads on cb and television is a huge waste of time. Hi (Czec) ! Why do you use speakers for laptop. You can buy FM transmitter that you can connect to your laptop output jack where connects headsets or speakers. Set you transmitter for your frequency and after just tune your truck radio to the same frequency and you can listen music from your laptop on your truck's radio speakers.... Less wire.... :-)
@czupoliver I know this method, my satellite radio uses it. However it still requires power, so it needs some cable, or at least battery. Also I was getting some interference with that setup. However you are right, it is cleaner and better setup.
FM Transmitters are very suseptible to being over-ridden by powerful local radio stations as you pass through their broadcast area. This means one must constatnly be adjusting and searching for a vacant FM frequency. This can be very frustrating for a driver who may be listining to a favorite radio show on XM or trying to listen to a weather report. If you don't have these deviced hard wired you'll be Praising the Lord all the way to Utah.

This mount was made using ordinary iron water pipes from Home Depot. My inverters have 1500 and 2000 W. Laptop and electric sheets are connected to separate set of batteries. In Volvo, when primary batteries are low, fridge is automatically turned off. I can run fridge and laptop for about 36 hrs. At night I turn my laptop off, and in cold nights I'm turning off my fridge too.

Na pewno wiesz co to jasna góra (zapraszam do mojego rodzinnego miasta) ale to właśnie telewizja katolicka (tv trwam) zrobiła sobie reklame na jasnej górze. reklama promowała telefonię komórkową "wrodzinie" stworzoną przez dr. ojca Tadeusza Rydzyka. z przykrością muszę stwierdzić że przez takie działalności katolicyzm upada także w polsce i nie będzie już to wiara wiodąca.
Ja nie mówiłem o telewizji "Trwam", której i tak nie mógłbym oglądać w ciężarówce. Poza tym to był żart, więc znowu nie musisz aż tak się oburzać.
Ja sam bardzo wiele zawdzięczam katolickim mediom i choć raczej słucham radia katolickiego, niż oglądam telewizję, to widzę jaki wielki wpływ na Kościół w Ameryce ma telewizja EWTN. Mój komentarz jednak dotyczył tak zwanej "normalnej" telewizji, która już dawno osiągnęła poziom rynsztoka.
