  • i agree with the description

  • actually, the 757 is the biggest plane i've been on!

  • First landing was beautiful! I like how they're all misty!

  • Your video is so awesome that I thought it was a SIMULATOR =p nice work, bro :D

  • 40,000th view woo hoo. not.

  • -Looks sooo Beautiful!!*

  • Those condensation trails are oh so majestic!

  • Utterly amazing. Love the 757!

  • So Beautiful.I love 752~~

  • @Rakehelion arrogant git, how was 1:32 boring?

  • I really wants to know which stativ you got!?

  • Those trails behind the wings, are those fuel being dumped?

  • @yongjianrong No, they're vapour forming in the flap vortices*.

(* - vortex, singular; vortices, plural).

  • Wow... you truly are an artist... Are you a pilot as well??? I aspire to become one someday...

  • Simply amazing, speechless...such a beautiful aircraft

  • ive been on G-FCLD :D going from izmir to newcastle delayed 17 hour's and it was replacement :)

  • Nice video! But ah, the first plane is of Air Finland, not Icelandic!

  • wow that was very amazzinng looking the turbin on the second plane

  • The second landing wasn't the best I've seen, but it was beautiful going into the sun with the trailers...

  • 757, BEST AIRCRAFT EVER. ;]

  • beautiful first landing for such an in-officiant aircraft :/

  • @codzomz It's a very efficient aircraft actually - in-fact there's nothing better in the role it plays for charter airlines. It's only because of how old the frame is getting they're replacing them with A321s and the likes of which. None of them can even compare to the ability of the 757. The RB211 is an amazing engine that can get the 757 in and out of places that is considered short for a 737.

  • @GatwickSpotting ya I love the RB211 its just that the frame, like said, has made it very inefficient(<=I know I spelled it 2 totally different ways) so I am glad they are changing it... my instructor told me they were doing away with it all together so I am glad they arent.. its my fav looking aircraft besides the 737-800 cause the complexity of the structure of that aircraft and its efficiency is amazing :)

  • @codzomz RB211 + 757 are my favourite aircraft/engine combo. I'm actually working on a 3D simulation of the 757 at the moment.

  • @GatwickSpotting Like out of STT, I swear the runway is real short, and the 757 still made it out with some asphalt to spare, eh! Gotta love those 757s!

  • @codzomz dude airlines use this plane on flights that you will find 777's on. for example American airlines flies this plane on the same routes as the 777 all around south america and europe. iceland air uses the 757 on the Seattle to Kevlakiv and it's most likely fully loaded airlines work the hell out of the 757.

  • The photography of that second landing is just stunning. The way the sunlight caught the air stream from the wings is absolutely awesome. I have watched it over and over again. I love it. I think it is beautiful. Thanks for posting this and giving me such a gorgeous image to keep in my mind for always.

  • 757, Best looking and most elegant Airliner !

  • THOMAS COOK ROCKS!!!

  • @yisasakopaka That landing didn't ROCK.

  • @RippedWookie lol i was talking about the airline company

  • @yisasakopaka lol I know. You said how they rocked and I watched them pretty much plant it into the ground.

  • where are you gatwick?

  • Just stunning A*

  • look at the vortix that the wing produces hahaha now I kno why this airplane is the one that produces the worst wake turbulence :S

  • how do you create the logo like thing beside the number of video and what is it called?

  • That first one is Air Finland Boeing 757-2K2 (OH-AFI) not icelandic Boeing 757-200W.. Btw awesome videos you got here and almost everyone(?) is in 720p or higher! Very nice work, keep it up! :)

  • Thanks for pointing that out, I will change it now :)

And yes, every single one of my videos pre-October 2009 are 720p or higher, everything newer than that, is full 1080p.

  • @GatwickSpotting Air Finland is leased to Air Greenland coz there own 757 is grounded/outfaced in CPH....Air Greenland also fly Thomas Cook flight out of CPH

  • @GatwickSpotting

What type of camera or recorder are you using??

  • @GatwickSpotting you still haven't changed the descritption to say Air Finland instead of Icelandic yet :P

  • 2nd landing is stunning, first landing with incredibly smooth.

  • @Daniel7681 I totally agree with you. This video is almost indescribably amazing!

  • could that first landing been any smoother??!!! awesome stuff

  • lol..the cockpit windows look so huge~!!!

  • how much zoom does your camera have??

  • @itshammer 95mm :)

  • @GatwickSpotting How many times?

  • @florbor007 That doesn't mean anything. A 2x zoom camera could have more zoom than a 1000x zoom camera. My camera has 20x zoom, but I know cameras that have 5x and can zoom further.

  • @GatwickSpotting How do you mean?

  • @florbor007 I can't explain it within the YouTube comment character limit, just go take a look Wikipedia and Google :)

  • wow amazing video..Beatiful birds

  • Very nice.

  • One of the Best videos I have ever watched!!

And Iv'e watched a few thousand.

    Well Done!!

  • Wow, those votices stayed with the airplane until touch down.

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • Amazing capture!

  • love the vortexes coming off the trailing edge of the flaps!

  • That first landing was gorgeous. The second landing was awful.

  • You have the "eye".

  • 1:35 nice dude!! keep up with making these vids!!

  • You have a wonderful eye for filming. I wish I was still flying to Gatwick, so I could get you to video my landing and send it to me!

  • Hehe, I have had alot of requests like that! I should be going back tomorrow morning, hopefully I will get some shots like "Golden Landing".

  • It's a vortex.

  • superb capture mate ! GJ

  • OMG! The second is great!

  • omg what camera do u have this looks amazing mate

  • He uses a Canon AX - X1 it's good because it's £2798 or $3547 if your american

  • no but I'll check them out.

  • Amazing!!!

  • Great job once again

  • These kinds of videos are the reason I love commercial airplanes.

  • Nice stuff Jords!

The TCX 757 with the vortex in the light looks superb !

  • Fantastic video 5*

I dont think the Air Finland 757 is a -300 series?

  • No, it's a -200 series. The proportions look to be that way, and you can somewhat see "Boeing 757-200" on the forward side of the fuselage.

  • Yeh thats what thought. The -300 looks alot longer. Quite easy to spot the difference.

  • breathe taking stuff

    10/10

  • I love the 757, gorgeous plane

  • what can i say ?

just awesome!! thx 4 uploading dude ! ;)

  • That second lander was magic...
