Terpsichorean Dance Company's last show of the year. As a choreographer for the show, I'm backstage with Izzy - another choreographer and creator of this video, who wanted me to beatbox on his psp camcorder. So we went to the backstage bathroom during the show & I busted a freestyle on video.. The song by One Republic that I start mockin was actually playing (which you can't hear in the video background) on stage, choreographed by Danika Galligan and Luis Castro.

The point of covering the mouth is to act as a spitguard.. if you ever record on microphones, whether beatboxin singin or rap, u'd know what spit does on a microphone and why they have spitguards.. everyone likes hearin a beatbox, but not at the cost of gettin spit in their face, DUH!!!! The hands over the mouth has been one of the original methods to the history and performance of the beatbox; people should appreciate history more often.
