I love this movie when I saw it years ago. Watching the ending of the film, I realize this writer/director has a unique but wonderful ear for dialogue. I remember thinking when I first saw this film that Noah Baumbach would become a household name after people became hip to his movie. Perhaps this film is a bit offbeat for the masses. I could care less; Mr. Jealousy is still a fantastic film with strong performances and an even better script. It beats most movies these days.
Utterly perfect ending scene to a wonderful movie that I have seen many times, and never seem to get tired of. Eric Stoltz owns this movie, expertly written and directed by Noah Baumbach. As with most Baumbach films, the dialogue is head over heels better than what you'll get in 98% of movies out today.
