  • mhhm not the best

  • what key is this flute in?

  • @Danny3z

    It's a Tin Whistle in High D

  • do you play it like a recorder ?

  • @zenku41

A Tin Whistle has only 6 Holes: It's not like a recorder to play, but experience in playing a recorder can help.

  • How fast! Fine ;P

  • can u please post the notes dude?

  • LOTR uses a pennywhistle. Try with one of those ;)

  • secondo me non è orribile e non ci vedo niente di male averlo pubblicato

  • made me laugh xD sry... really made my day x)

  • It's horrrible!!

  • too fast, not enough feeling ... feels like filling a duty. at least with your eyes shut you could possibly fool me.

  • how does one learn to play a tin whistle

  • As any other regular instrument:

By Tab, Sheet, Workshop or Self-Study ;)

  • FAST take it easy dude xD

  • you are good in playing but too fast

  • omg...i love LOTR ..wat are the notes for this as in C B A G F E D

  • DEFA FE-ED DEFAB (high)D aaand then I dunno.

  • Is that a Dixon Brass tin whistle? I like the way this one sounds.

  • My prefered Shop called it "Dixon Alu High D"

  • Haha there's really a titanic-part in your song :)

  • Back then, I hade played by "hearing".

If you look at the newest Reply (0:47 long, in White Shirt), you'll see a version by modified flute-sheet (more accurate).

  • HA IS THAT 0:17 LOL I HEARD IT TOO XD

  • Too fast but good.

  • Good job. I love this melody.

  • Way to throw in some Titanic in there...

  • nice

  • nice job! sounds good. u kinda look like a hobbit yourself

  • you should try going abit slower. it sounds fast. still quite good. i couldn't do it. :( 4/5

  • concerning hobbits... dove posso trovare la partitura?? pleaseee???

  • Amazing man! That was cool :D

  • good 8/10

  • How much does a nice tin whistle cost? I totaly wanna learn how to play!

  • Tin Whistle aren't expensive. There several Starter Kits with Whistle, Book and CD for around 20-30$ and just a Tin Whistle should be available at around 5-10$ (guessed price based on my price experience in Germany/Switzerland)

The Dixon Alu D was around 70€, but it's not required. As usual: Start with "cheap" ones, before "waste an expensive instrument" :D

  • Thanks so much!

  • their old name was 'penny whistle' cause they were made for a penny, and cost 2

    (or something like that)

too bad they don't price em like that these days ;)

  • what is the Instrument?plis

    God Job!!

  • In this movie I've used a Dixon Alu High D

    Regular Tin Whistle :D

  • I know you do not have sheet music, but can you send me the notes or a picture of the fingering you use for this song, i've been looking everywhere for a way to play it.

  • same here if you may be so generous :)

I've almost figured it out meself but i still have trouble spots!

    -Lilliay-

  • can u please give me the sheet music to that please

  • Sorry but most of the "Movie/Serie/Anime Soundtrack" I perfom are mostly without any sheets or tabs developed (in Switzerland I have my troubles to get them... at least for whistles). So I cannot provide you with a sheet.

  • Hello, I think I have the same wishtle than you. Is it a Dixon?

  • Yes for this Movie I've used a Dixon (Alu) in D.

  • first comment whoot!

so fingering for tin whistle is just like the recorder, only simplified to make it amazingly simple?

  • If you played a recorder the "change" to a tin whistle wouldn't that difficult.

The Tin Whistle can be simple, but as every instrument -> it has its own style, tricks und difficult parts.
