Not everything the combine has in store for humanity is right but would you rather have limitless amounts of intelegence or go back to the dark ages to satisfy our instinct by going to war?
Superb voice work, and a message that really makes you think- were it not for the totalitarianism, not to mention the routine beatings and killings and whatnot, the Combine would quite likely have been the good guys.

Could it be that Dr. Breen is actually doing the right thing? And that Gordon Freeman is being lead in the wrong direction by the G-man? He seemed to be aware of the Gman's control over him when he said "Your contract was sold to the highest bidder"

He believes we need the Combine's help to become a mature, space-fairing society, when logically you could expect that if the Combine could do it, so can we.
