@L96A1KiD yes, SD tv's don't have component inputs. BUT, if you have the s-video + composite cable for your ps3 / xbox, (as in it outputs right / left audio, composite video, and s-video) then you don't need splitters or even audio splitters in some cases. Run the composite video to your TV and the S-video to your dazzle (good recording quality with s-video) For audio:

1. Output optical audio to sound system and R/L to dazzle

2. Use simple RCA splitters

3. Run R audio to TV and L audio to Dazzle

Alright I hooked everything up like you had, but I lost my sound on my TV! I had the Green Blue and Red hooked up to the back of my TV, but to get sound I have the Red and White on the back of my TV to. But you have that hooked into the Dazzle.

@jweston942 hey i have the green blue and red inputs in the back of my tv but note that i dont have a hdtv i have a really old not even flat screened tv and i have double ended rca cables and my composite cables for my system . i hooked my stuff up and i only get the capture preview on pinnacle but theres no visual on my tv and i tried fooling around with the inputs. do i need to have the hd cables because my tv is reallllly old but it has the red green blue inputs in the back and it cant work.
