@King19840805 even though the transmission can shift up without a clutch you do need to push in the clutch pedal when your shifting down. all rally cars are made this way, the only reason audi bmw etc that have these kind of transmissions dont need a clutch pedal for downshifting is because they are based on automatic transmissions not manual transmissions like these are.

@losacco2010 ehhh its not really a ford its the body shape of a ford but the engine tranny interior etc is all custom built. The car is not backed by ford like a WRC car would be. Its theoretically based on a fiesta but its really just a one off custom car that might have a couple pieces from a fiesta on it but its not really a fiesta. Also the WRC fiestas have to be based on the street legal version but this one does not.

@RecklessDrift perfectly achievable. all wheel drive with lots of torque and power get really fast 0-60. top of second would be 60-70 depending on the gearing. time it with a stop watch. its just under 2 seconds... and hes spinning all 4 tires.... i he didnt spin id say itd be 1.5 or less 0-60

No its a semi automatic trans. You need the clutch to go into first, after that you use the paddle on the steering wheel to change gears. Flat shifting you still use the clutch you just don't let up on the gas.

@jayhawk184 I can actually. Due to a rule change in the WRC, rally cars no longer have to be modified production cars, rather they just have to look like the car it's "Based" off of. This means companies with copious amounts of money can build some crazy powerful and lightweight buggy from scratch, cram it full of expensive technology, then put on the shell of a production car and Ta-Da!

the WORST is nascar, they call them stock cars but the only thing that makes say a monte carlo different from a charger is the decal stickers on the fiberglass body shell.. its all marketing and it makes me sick
