The past few weeks have really been a hard time for me. Two of my grandparents died within two months. I was very close to them. Going to those two funeral hurt me financially and I feel like I am hanging on by a thread. But, then a friend gave me a CD with this song on it and it touched me! Quickly it turned into a favorite! I am in one of those trials in which Christ is calming me while the storm slams against my soul. I know it will eventually end. Christ is my best friend through this life!

This is the song I needed to hear because of the pain I feel from the loss of my uncle back in May. It's the first Christmas where I can't call my aunt and talk to both of them. I lost an uncle and my aunt lost a brother. She and I are the only ones left in my maternal family. So thank you for putting up this song. :) <3

this is probably one of the most beautiful songs ever written.. including chapman's remember the chains. i have a different version from scott. i have one of his albums which includes this song. i had a difficult time singing along with this one cause he altered some notes a little. hehe. thank you for posting this. if we accept Christ as our Savior, it will not be soo difficult going through a rough time knowing that someone is actually holding us close, who lets the wind and waves go wild..

This song means the world to me.Just a short time after being diagnosed with incurable cancer, I went with friends to see Scott Krippayne in concert. He started playing this song, which I had never heard before, and the music and words just filled my heart with peace and joy.That was exactly what I needed to hear at that moment. It was my reminder that God was by my side, and that he will never leave me. It's carried me through 12 years of chemotherapy,and I have no fear of what the future holds
