It's the base model as mentioned, and having lived and worked in Europe I know for a fact that there is no way you can get an A4 Avant for $34,500 unless you get one with cloth seats and hubcaps which they don't even offer in the US. Yes, we would love a TDI option. We get screwed with the array of options but it's the Europeans getting screwed with the price.

Thank you for actually show how a baby seat would fit. Especially, as this is a wagon odds are it will be used by people with kids. The typical 'family' car review never seems to include 'family' potential issues. Keep it up!

its a little tight though, he's only 5'10" and he looked very bunched up, especially in the rear seat. I think i'd still pay a lot more for the bigger A6 Avant

I really doubt the ability of this reporter. His driver seat is not adjusted correctly. U can see the headrest is far back and never his arms can reach the steering wheel with his head against the headrest. It could cause neck injury from a rear ending. Also, it makes the second roll space looks tight.

It's a great drive. Tested the prestige model with all the goodies in it. One of the things that definitely stood out was the Bang & Olufsen speaker system, sounds incredible. Very comfortable drive and a quick response as well. I'l be trading in my 350 Z for it. Coming from a sports car I didn't expect that good of a response from the Avant but I was pleasantly surprised.

I have this car, and the back is not as small as the reviewer made it seem. I know he said he liked to sit back, but that seat position is not normal for someone 5'10". He probably likes to have arms extended out, but that's not safe in emergency situations, b/c it decreases leverage and reaction time. It's especially important for this car, considering how heavy the steering gets at highway speeds. Also, please don't call it "restyled." If I were an Audi engineer, I would be pissed.

I agree in this review about trunk space. I dont see why trunk space would matter so much in reviews. If it is big enough, then it is big enough. Sure you want cargo space, but what would 1 cubic feet of difference do, especially when you compare. Many auto reviews mention trunk space. If it is noticeably smaller than its competitors, then you mention it. If not, talk about the extra features and new things in the car. Also talk about what the car misses.

I completly agree with you, wagons are way better. The only time i can think of SUVs being better is maybe ground clearance but alot of them dont have great clearance like people think they do.

if you want the LEDs you have to upgrade. plus you get nicer wheels, and a whole host of other little features.  When i order mine, I'm getting the premium plus. The prestige is too expensive, though it does offer the awesome B&O stereo.
