Yes, you are right. Thank God for Otis Redding, He paved the way for the Chris Browns of today, which I might add, he did a heck of a rendition of Otis Redding in Tyler Perrys movie, and that awed me that the young people know and respect him. A true testament to his music and his gift. He is smiling in heaven. I am sure.

And Otis is what I want to hear, without timmyj40 knocking stuff around and chatting in the background. Timmy, lucky for us, is rerecording this classic -- almost perfect -- baaaaad mf version of this great song. And I thank him for his respect for Otis and to go to all that extra trouble for us.

Yes, but it's typical of Otis' recordings in his day. To me, it sounds just perfect -- the Stax Records style.
