Allah gave the Muslims the world when they were Muslims. When the started following lunatics like Ibn Arabi who said everything is Allah including the dog on the street Allah took everything away and humilated them.
@alfulani5 I'm a sunni muslim but I've read a lot about ibn arabi and I think that he's a great guy, even a genius. Everything he said was philosophical and made sense, but he never founded a way (tariqah) for people to follow. Neither did he create a belief and said that it was the only belief that it is the absolute truth. He was merely a scholar that provided ideas and other philosophies to define the world, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's part of seeking knowledge.
@alfulani5 I have read his works. Right now, I only mainly studied Creative Imagination in the Sufism of Ibn 'Arabi by Henry Corbin. I'm going to buy Futuhat Almakiyyah in Arabic to understand his ideas more clearly. I'm not saying his works are gold or anything, but I think he's a great philosopher. There's nothing wrong with thinking about different ideas of God that are different from orthodox, and I think it's part of Jihad in religion. Ibnal-'Arabi is just hated because people hate the new.

No use reading ABOUT him.
Read HIS works.
A complete lunatic will do better than the Shaitan Ibn Arabi.
