It don't feckin work no more. The lag's worse than Gears 2, and there is more bullshit. Power weapons users like you do my head in because they fucked it up. None of the weapons are balanced, as they can do different damage in different points in the same game. Gnasher users get it worst because it's so unbalanced. SO and Retros are not skillful. They are power weapons. Hello? a gnasher is more affected by lag than any other gun.

I was great in Gears 1 and Gears 2, but they weren't very fun games. Especially the second one, that game was definitely not fun. Though, Gears 1 was alot of fun cuz me and my buddies always glitched out of the maps :D

@kemando12 Nah, see here's the thing. The retro and Sawedoff was made by Epic to help those casual players, they said it themselves. Now the difference is that any rifle can fight another rifle and possibly win. Shotguns however, you cant. You cant interchange damage with a sawedoff, once its close its got all the power. That's something no other starting weapon can do. A hammerburst at its best range(FAR) can still be beat by a lancer.

Respond to this video... But a sawedoff has more GIb range than a gnasher, thats not how it should be. Its Hammer>Lancer>Retro>Gnasher>SO­. Understand its overpowered range wise.The weapon itself is balanced, but the method is which its used is not. Its being used as an offensive weapon whens its designed to be defensive. Either way it NEEDs to be toned down a bit. Oh, and youre still a fagget for defending it. My K/D is 2.5 and wW/L of 3.5. I also Use ALL RIFLES depending on map.

And "wallbouncing" doesn't take skill, you tap the fuckin "A" button. The retro wasn't nerfed... Im a gnasher fan so hate me. Its not my one weapon i use mainly lancer. I have just as many kills with lancer than i do with the gnasher. I will only use the sawdoff for the medal. @Mrfrizzywalkthroughs I get the lag while using Composite cables on an HDTV, But there's 2 settings I can change called Video compensation settings or something which speeds things up and makes it normal, but the display is like TERRIBLE I can't tell enemies from friendly's and it's just awful, which is why a theatre mode for GoW would be nice, cuz I can play in HD then record afterward, lol.
