didn't know Cadillac de villes had so many problems ... i see alot of u peoples lac did ... I had a 2000 similar to this one but mines had the rag top .. Didn't put much $ on beat but had some 22 inch rims that seem there were just meant for that car ... no problems at all .. ran so smoth .. no shaking or what ever the fxxk u people said .. my de ville was look nice .. Sold it for $5000 after I got out from la.county and just stayed with one car BMW X5 ... next 745 li BMW !!! west coast .

Poeboy. It's your crankshaft position sensors. Almost every deville had flawed ones put in at factory. About a$300 job with labor and parts. The shaking on the highway is a build defect, believe it or not. I have heard you can't get rid of it.

i bought a 2002 deville dhs 60k miles. @64kmiles I started feeling it shaking at speed of 60mph through 75mph. Then my rear passenger regulator went out. My check radiator fluid came on. Checked it Still full, i was told its my radiator sensor thats gone. It started turning off on me the freeway, stops, and while making slow turns. Ive been to different cadillac forums and every single one of them talk shit about them. I LOVE the car, but damn. Ive expected more from a Cdillac.

How many miles were on this thing? You had any problems with it? Our 2003 with only 39,000 miles has been nothing but problems... A/C is out, window regulators are failing, and these are surprisingly expensive fixes. Did you know that a blown head gasket (SUPER common problem on these cars) cost $4,000 to even $8,000 (depending on where you go) to fix? Some mechanics tell you it'd be easier to just replace the Northstar entirely... yeah right, just exchange one timebomb for another...

@MarcsMobileAudio A fucking head gasket on a Northstar, YES. You gotta drop the whole engine to do it, it's nearly a 20 hour job. Most people just replace the engine. Many mechanics won't even touch the Northstar because it's too much of a pain.
