Garradors arent that scary its just when they run at you and go mental but i find them easy to kill as long as you have a good aim and a steady hand and you can keep your nerve and you have a powerfull gun all you need to do is shoot them in the back3 or 4 times but iron maidens/ regenerators are the scariest bastards i actually screamed out loud cause i wasnt expecting it to jump at me!!!

1 Regenerator (more scary than Iron maiden, mayden attacks with a cool, anime style looking super-spikes special attack, regenerator BITES you, hysterically.

2 Verdugo.

The chainsaw maniac, garrador, etc, just look like characters of a very crappy serial killer movie. El gigante looks like something from lord of the rings.

I think the monsters in RE4 weren't that scary since the game was more about the action. Some were scary in a "damn, this fucker's going to kill me" way, but not scary scary. The one and only monster I do consider scary and creepy from this game are the Regenerators/Iron Maidens. The way they move, the sounds they make and the music playing when you encounter one combine to make a scary monster (it helps that most of them are hiding in corners ¬¬).
