  • lovely poem. Should be careful calling gree berets though, could be confused with the yanks. They ain't green berets even if they wear one. they are better than that!

    The history and spirit of the British army cdo of WW2 lives on in the Army cdo in Australia today, with a bit of Blondie hasler's SBS thrown in to compliment, the Klepper canoe still the centre of attention

    And yes, they wear thet Green Beret

  • Hi Mark very nicely set up video for this poem. The woman who wrote this poem is Mrs Boardman, the wife of No.2 Commando - Arthur Boardman. She is still alive but sadly Arthur is no longer with us. Hope to see you one day at a CVA Event... Pete Rogers
