DAB qualitywise is disappointing;in the UK we have large numbers of local regional and national stations squashed into the bandwidth and to get all those stations crammed in,bit rates have to be reduced,which has an effect on soundquality and the more stations you fit in-the more your bitrates have to be reduced,the more mediocre it sounds overall. In high quality mode DAB can only manage six stations at 192kbps-to put more in,this has to go down even further.
