hello i'm from indonesia.the way filipino speak sounds like sundanese language.sundanese is my second language in indonesia,it's located in west java.there is neither "f" sound in sundanese and we used to say it with "p".many other ethnics in indo take it as funny thing coz we sundanese can't say "f",especially in english.i thought its only sundanese ppl in this world who can't say "f",but now i've found another and it's my neighbor filipina.hahah.it's funny.

@agustinadisney as a foreigner you must be confused. the filipino alphabet does not have some letters like "f", but a lot of filipino names have these missing letters like "f" which are pronounced correctly. a lot of filipinos who grew up overseas often jump to conclusions regarding this like the video uploader. the native/aboriginal words do not have these sounds, but the assimilated words from spanish, english, etc. are pronounced with the correct sounds.

@agustinadisney hi, i know indonesia, like the philippines is an archipelago.we have lots of local dialects, how many do you have? btw, it's not that we can't say "f", it's more like we have trouble with our p's and f's when speaking in english..just like what kuya mikey said, we tend to interchange our "f"s and "p"s when pronouncing words that contains these letters...it's a bit annoying and embarrassing, but is incredibly funny after getting over being annoyed and embarassed.

@shykrei i don't know exactly the difference between dialect n language,as i know every provinces speak different language n accent(but some words r almost the same compared to other provinces/ethnic).but based on survey,there r around 700 languages in indo but most of them r extinct.only around 111 languages which r still spoken(java,sunda,melayu,bali,­etc).most of us prefer to speak indonesian coz it's more efficient to talk to each other.however,i love my sundanase,it's unique n funny.salamat!

@hikari11AMV4kei the filipino alphabet was not created based on the phonetics used by filipinos but based on the original alibata alphabet since the katipuneros want to re-create the past did not want to use the spanish alphabet. for example, do you say x-ray as ekray? but practically, filipinos speak the spanish/often times english alphabet/phonetics.
