DSLR Fluid Video Head: Manfrotto 701HDV vs 700RC2

The 501PL plate screw for the 701HDV (and 501/501HDV) can be tightened fairly easily. You don't need a screw driver or any fancy tools. A 2 pence coin (UK) or a 2c or 5c coin (Euro zone). Just small value coins in most currencies should do the job.

Hey man i'm using a canon 60D and i have the 055Cprob legs, i bought the 701HDV it's really great but some people messed with my mind and they were like go for the 501HDV? What do you think? and there is something i noticed, that on the X axis when i move the head left or right it doesn't sharply stop at the end of the movement, i feel a very little push inside from the position where is stop it. Is this normal?

701HDV not using RC2 plates is kinda sucky. Sepecially for those of us who have those "permanently" fitted to our cameras so they can easilly fit the tripod and different heads.
