  • I'm soooo proud and happy he was a 49er :D

  • G.O.A.T.

  • go niners

  • Illuminati sign at the end

  • hes the most dominant player at any position ever he beat double team triple team brackets you name it didnt matter

  • There will be no comparison till his records are broken by one man, not different players breaking his record. One player, 16 seasons, regular season records and superbowl record.

  • Im a giants fan but every time i saw rice play all i could say is wow he was truly amazing the best WR i've ever seen.

  • Never seen anything like it -BEST PLAYER EVER

  • I'm proud to be named after him :)

  • BEST..BEST...BEST EVER!!!

    We love you Jerry.

  • Sick!!! 2:12

  • No offense to Jerry Rice, he is a great receiver... however, had he not been on a team with Joe Montana and Steve Young, he would not have set the records he did. Had he been on a team with more average QB's he would not have gotten close to the stats he got in his career.

  • @WinsEZ2 He played w/ Rich Gannon, Steve DeBerg, and Elvis Grbacc as well, and still mathmatically performed at 80% consistency with them and ANY other qb he played with other than his last season. So at best logically you can say he would have 80% of the stats he had if he played with a different qb. Moss needed a qb that could throw him open and throw the deep ball. Rice simply was open, Ryan Leaf could complete passes to Rice as open as he got.

  • @WinsEZ2 but his best seasons came with deberge at the helms

  • The best football player, the best wide receiver that ever graced his presence with the game. I admired you growing up, that's why I love football now, and I play with my son. Thank you.

  • Before anybody even mentions the name in of Terell Owens or Randy Moss in a sentence with Jerry Rice, stop and think: you are watching 10 minutes of Rice making DB's look like high schoolers and catching touchdowns. And you know what's even more scary, is that this sick montage of genius from Jerry doesn't even resemble a fraction of what he did in his career. So think about it...

  • This is the reason why i'm going to practice super hard to be a great Wide Reciever

  • Love You Jerry. Tim Brown needs to be honored in HOF also.

  • whats the music that starts at 4:00?

  • btw thank you soooooo much for not putting some shitty rap song on this awesome video of the greatest wide reciever ever to play the game!

  • Being from Atlanta, i know most times they lined up Charles Dimry (22) from the falcons on Rice and put Deion in some weird safety coverage and he used to kill us.

  • @kenyonr Why didn't they let Deion go 1v1 with Rice?

  • Legend

  • Saying what I just said. It's just football. Don't get so bent over it. Enjoy the game. Niners should get Manning and then start Kap after he breaks his neck. GO NINERS!

  • Deion used to punk Rice, sorry. Ya, Rice did good here and there, but overall, Deion would man handle Rice. There's plenty of times Deion broke up plays and defended Rice by pushing him around. Lets face it, Deion owned Rice, & everyone really. I grew up & literally watched every single 49er game in the Bay. I even saw Deion catch Rice from the far side of the field (wasn't covering him) limp running on a bad ankle.

  • Deion rarely lined up with J Rice. Also, 1vs1 without a safety most WR's have the advantage. my 2 cents

  • Jerry caught most of his passes with his hands. You see a lot of players catching them with off of there bodies these days.............GOAT

  • @crzyballa408 yah, they say he caught bricks helping his dad in construction. Man, whatever happened to those skills today?

  • 49ers foe life

  • GOAT = greatest of all time ;)

  • wow sure gone quiet in here

  • If you watched every time they lined up and saw Rice had over 100 yards on sanders in his career, which is something you said he didn't do, would you man up then? I have given plenty of evidence and places to look for evidence in relation to the '94 nfc championship and see one youtube video w/ like 6 plays from the game used as a defense for the whole game.

  • Question still stands though and it is rhetorical, would you even admit if it was over 60? Would you just claim ignorance that its not worth your time, and you can't trust me to do it? Would you man up? How would you handle it?

  • Would you rather watch it and discount from the yards on plays that weren't assigned to him and take more of an affirmative position in the matter?

  • that the 49ers didn't give Deion the defensive assignment during the '94 game of Alvin harper?

  • @Sharkwalker1 Like I said...where's the lie there? I've given several instances of Deion lining up against Irvin that game, and other than some alleged commentary by media and examples of Deion lining up on Harper on both sides, you really don't have any strong evidence. Not strong enough to conclusively prove your claim, anyway.

  • that Rice in his whole career never totaled over 100 yards on deion?

  • @Sharkwalker1 You still haven't actually addressed this one, other than to claim that the entirety of that 93 game @ Atlanta was on Deion.

How about YOUR claim that he had 600 yards and 4 TDs against Deion? And you said this to someone OTHER than me.

  • @Ricearoni80 We talked about how that's when Rice was on Deion's side of the field in zone coverages and both agreed its silly to count zone coverage yards and stats

  • @Ricearoni80 as far as the '93 game, if I watched the whole game and gave you the time and yardage totals for the game and they added to over 60 would you even come clean about it?

  • @Sharkwalker1 I'd have to watch it myself given your "history" of game analysis.

  • @Ricearoni80 go for it if you want to. let me know the times and plays that you discount from the total yardage. Also, pay attention to if Sanders is obviously assigned to him or not.

  • @Sharkwalker1 I'll do it tomorrow.

  • @Ricearoni80 fair enough, for the record, glad we got to talk this way, got a lot more done in a lot less time. Mind if I do the same just to make sure a loose man isn't counted as a zone or something?

  • @Sharkwalker1 Just watched the game. I'll grant you that Deion was apparently shadowing Rice (which is especially strange given the fact that Deion was sick all week and clearly not feeling well during the game)...but it still didn't total 100 yards. The first play (gain of 4) was with Rice coming out as a HB. He also gained 8 on an underneath cross. One catch appeared to be Deion playing in some form of zone. The other 3 I'll score as Rice beating Deion. Not sure of total yards.

  • @Ricearoni80 It wasn't 100 on man but probably around 80 (or just over 60 if you count the one where Deion is off the line and bites on the fake deep route when Rice breaks back.) Most of the yards did come off the 46 yarder though. I just wish they lined up on each other like this more than just in this game. So we good to shake hands and move on now?

  • @Jaybegood4u @Ricearoni80 I'm good to move on I think. I thought you didn't have the games Jay? I haven't got a chance to actually watch it yet, but doesn't look like I need to. Thanks for the fun debate Ricearoni80.

  • Do you still think that defensive assignments of a CB to a WR don't exist at all? that was your initial position

  • y todavia piensas que puedes hablar espanol mejor k mi ingles? you think you can still speak spanish better than my english? -translation

  • that's really all you think you were mistaken of?

  • so like I said, you want to bicker another two weeks, or you good to move on?

  • Now I can go and count yards on Sanders and see if they total over 60 for the '93 game, w/ a pen adding them up, then watch every other game and see if they go over 100 and we can bicker for another 2 weeks or we can say our peace and move on now. Up to you, I really do have to go and hope I at least earned a little bit of respect from you as a person. I was annoyed w/ the ad hominems and respect is really the only goal I ever had in mind.

  • @Sharkwalker1 I might respect you slightly if you didn't have to resort to flat-out lying. For you to spew all that crap about maturity and fallacies, and then come back with egregious lies...that's what annoyed me the most.

  • @Ricearoni80 do you not think you've lied about anything?

  • @Sharkwalker1 What did I lie about? I was mistaken about Madden not having any "assign" feature, but I was basing it off 2004.

  • @Ricearoni80 I'll admit I was wrong about the falcons play for sure. Which I've planned to do all along, but I'd hoped you'd realize that you have been mistaken about concepts like defensive assignments, and the Harper having Deion assigned to him in the '94 championship and once you admitted you were mistaken about those I'd admit the falcons game, that's why I said one point at a time.

  • I really do got to go, I have my baby, but she's getting hungry and won't stay content much longer, I really promise I haven't blatantly lied about any plays. Trying to zoom and find'm and watch'm and take care of a baby while on a work call gets hectic. If I was still single I'd be zooming in finding nfl films versions of the play to verify positions, as it was I just hurridly watched them. although I did sit and watch the redskins game in entirety w/ the baby one day.

  • So again I'm humbly going to say this, lets agree to disagree, as I literally felt like I have wasted hours w/o gaining any new knowledge of a great sport. I think you feel the same, so lets just agree that football is a great addition to the culture of the United States and move on.

  • now I have a 7 month old who just woke up and my wife is asleep so I'm going to go take care of that, but if you sincerely just want to get the last word in to boost your self esteem then tell me and I will let you. I just don't see any practicality though, in arguing w/ someone who will pick a fight w/ however many people disliked your comments and liked mine and spoke to you in messages, w/o having any ability to just say "you know we don't agree on this and never will" and walk away

  • Let me get to the point quickly. I could look at your comment like "Rice doesn't have 100 yards on sanders in his whole career!" or "rice doesn't have 60 yards on Sanders in the '93 game" I could look at these games tell you the exact minute a play happened in the game w/ Rice in man on Sanders and the exact yardage and add it up. I still think you would deny it, or claim ignorance in that you can't verify it when you easily could. Tell me I'm wrong, through actions not words.

  • @Sharkwalker1 I'm sorry, what does this have to do with 1989 vs. Falcons and Deion/Dimry?

We already had the discussion about zone vs. man coverage and things of that nature. I haven't watched that game in a while, but I remember enough to tell you Rice did NOT have 100 yards on Deion in man coverage in that game. I'm pretty sure he didn't even catch all his passes against Deion that game. But you steered the zone vs. man thing in the direction of 89 49ers/Falcons, and lied.

  • @Ricearoni80 I didn't lie about the play, it was one I popped in w/ a crying 7 month old watched one time and tried to review where people were. My copy is a dvd copied from a vhs so I can't fully make out numbers of players. My explanation was as close I could tell as to what happened.

  • @Sharkwalker1 LOL. Yeah. Fucking. Right. I'd have an easier time believing an "alien abduction" excuse.

You can see the numbers clearly on this video at 6:30. And there's no way anyone could ever mistake Charles Dimry for "blitzing" on that play before the snap. Just admit it...you lied.

  • Aside from Madden and Pat summerral talking about it the whole first quarter, popping an icon up showing the times lined up on each to start the second and the same icon at the end of the game showing way more times on Harper. Then at the end of the game one of them mentioned "Sanders held harper to just 1 catch for 14 yards, what a brilliant strategy having Sanders on harper instead of Irving." or something to the effect.

  • @Sharkwalker1 Irvin doing 12-192-2 doesn't sound like the result of "brilliant defensive strategy to me," but I digress.

  • @Ricearoni80 lol probably wasn't when you check those yards. Watch the game though and read the commentaries people have written and published on the game most agree shutting down harper was critical in that he had beaten the niners the years prior.

  • trying to find the sf chronicle article on it that was published before the 3rd NFC playoff game the 49ers had against the packers. A woman w/ the first name Ira published it I believe. I already quoted it here once before, but can't find it atm in googles archives.

  • Sun Sentinel - Fort Lauderdale jan. 16, 1995 article by Charles bricker. article verifies that Sanders was "assigned" uses that word, most of the game.

  • I don't blame you for wanting to stay on this subject, though, as there are at least certain nuances that are beyond anyone's ability to verify without an overhead shot (such as specific defensive packages...not all dime packages are identical...could be 4 CBs or 3 Ss).

It's more than you could ever hope for with the dreaded 1989 vs. Falcons game. You've got no way out of that one.

  • 4th quarter, 9:11, Deion is at his usual RCB spot...on Irvin (Davis on Harper). Very next play, Deion still at RCB, Irvin on other side going against Eric Davis.

  • @Ricearoni80 and the 3rd quarter? lol or the first? Ratio of times lined up on each and situations he was lined up on them? I'm guessing in the 4th they were in a looser zone. I know they were on the PI that didn't get called on Sanders.

  • everyone down voting comments go now since it is obvious you are all on at once, or maybe Ricearoni80 actually does know a way to make bogus accounts?

  • that fact of the matter is I know that I didn't send anything about a catch after watching a game and that was about a week and a half ago when I watched it. So I'm thinking delayed, or you made up the PM <---pretty sure your beyond that though.

  • Watch the game, don't base it only on a youtube video dedicated to the matchup on Irvine and Sanders, which shows pretty much every play they lined up on each other. Base it on the entirety of the game.

  • Let me add to mississippi's comments though. After Irvin's first long touchdown, the niners switched up the game plan and put Sanders back on him, then for whatever reason, switched him back to harper after.

  • even though earlier you got on to confirm that it was package changes, and everything and were absolutely wrong about that. If you had even done that you would have noticed that Madden and summerall mentioned it many times that game. So as far as getting on and verifying it was an issue of packages I will utilize your word for irony, "Liar"

  • @Sharkwalker1 Nope, I verified through the videos already posted on YT. I don't feel like going to the trouble of digging through all my games to locate it if I can avoid it. I already exposed you as a liar after digging up 2 of them, and through simple YT uploads found you lying on a third.

Go back and look at those early plays. Check and see which side the TE is lined up on. When the SE is inverted in dime, so is Deion. There may be one play that was an exception.

  • @Ricearoni80 so your defense really is ignorance this time? I expected better of you than that. If I give you a legitimate published article in a sf newspaper will you accept that as evidence of sanders having the defensive assignment of covering Harper?

  • @Sharkwalker1 Why? Your own E-friend just verified that Sanders was covering Irvin pretty much the entire second quarter.

BTW, I just remembered a play from the 1990 @ Falcons game where Taylor caught a pass towards the sidelines, lined up on the right side of the 49ers formation. It was against Dimry, not Deion. So much for "shadowing."

  • @Ricearoni80 the term "shadowing" is the same as your definition of the word "shut down" it means they have the defensive assignment of coverage in most formations. It is not a 100% all the time thing.

  • @Sharkwalker1 You're just amending it as you go.

  • @Ricearoni80 I'm standing by my point that the game plan was set up to give Deion the defensive assignment of covering Harper. Other than in the red zone or in zone defenses where man coverage skills don't matter.

  • @Ricearoni80 He never verified he was on Irvin the second quarter... see this is why you are not worth anyones time, you care about being right and when you are wrong you claim ignorance

  • @Sharkwalker1 he confirmed he was assigned to Irvin one or two drives after an irvin touchdown

  • @Sharkwalker1 Second quarter is when those drives were. Early and late.

Funny how he was "assigned," yet they all came with Deion playing in the 49ers' base 3-4, with Deion at his normal RCB spot and Irvin at SE.

  • @Ricearoni80 You don't seem to get that Deion switched as a result of a long TD irvin had over davis. This was a deviation from the game plan. They went back to the game plan after.

  • you don't need to verify my friend Mississippi Rice did, grant it he is biased as a friend off of a 49ers group online... Game will confirm it for you too, but in this situation I understand how ignorance is your only defense.

  • See the funny thing is you base your Defenses of things like the '94 nfc championship game on lies... , then hold to the fact that you think I have blatantly lied 3 times (one of those I've disproved I'll eventually get back around to the other 2 once we get you to admit your wrong about the nfc championship game. Tell me again how many plays does it show michael Irvine on deion sanders again in your video? lol How many non redzone and non prevent situations?

  • @MississippiRice80 you are absolutely right. The did is annoying w/ these.

  • Comment removed

  • As far as the thumbs up and down go. I've had many people send me pms about how full of it they think you are and how arrogant you seem, or actually asking legitimate questions about things I've said. They wanted me to explain my FULL<-(key word) position on the redskins game a while back as well as participate. I simply just contacted all of them and said, go ahead and like or dislike comments if you want, but don't get too involved w/ your own as he'll just insult you for disagreeing.

  • by the way my "allthree were caught "right in front of #25" is a question... just ran out of space for the question mark.

  • I it possible to dislike Ricearoni80 and not just his comments? What a fool........

  • for the record the next topic..... is either your quotes "Rice never had over 100 yards on Deion in his career" "Deion NEVER shadowed anyone." or "Deion wasn't assigned to Harper in the '94 NFC championship" You can pick from those three, but only after we finish this redskins game

  • @Ricearoni80 let me give you a summary of some commentary on the '94 championship.

First cowboys play from scrimmage, John Madden "Sanders just went up to harper and touched him saying I've got you!"

2nd play Summeral "This time harper goes left... and Sanders follows him."

Final minute of first quarter, Summeral "and Remember Sanders is on harper."

End of first quarter Times lined up on Harper 12 on Irvin 1 (the final play of the quarter once cowboys hit red zone).

  • @Sharkwalker1 And where in any of those quotes (which I'm not even going to bother verifying) does either of them say, "Deion Sanders has been assigned to Alvin Harper this game, so he will follow him around on every play?" No shit Sanders will "follow him over there" if Deion is going over to his assigned position in the defensive package.

  • @Ricearoni80 Madden wonders about it the first play, and Summerall confirms it during the last minute of the first half after Harper had been shadowed by sanders on 12 straight plays

  • @Ricearoni80 The only times you will see Sanders on Irvin that game are near the goal line and in prevents towards the ends of the halves. That's it. So yeah check your video, or as you so much want to do yourself, I can post the comments. Sanders being on Irvine for so few plays shows a game plan giving him the defensive assignment of harper. He is on harper in nickle, dime, the then standard for the niners 4-3. Only comes off in red zone and prevents.

  • @Sharkwalker1 Oh really?

Just from that video linked: 12:58 in the 2nd quarter, ball on SF 35. Deion & Irvin. Then next play at 12:32 at the SF 22, Deion's still on Irvin. Then at 3:54 in the 2nd at the SF 39, Deion's still on Irvin.

In the 3-4 packages, every highlight in Michael Irvin vs. 49ers has Deion at his usual RCB spot, with the exception of 1, in which Irvin lines up in left slot, inverting the offensive formation.

  • @Ricearoni80 defensive formation was irrelevant, which you based your whole explanation off of saying you watched the game. So yeah pretend I'm a liar when I baited you to be able to give you the legitimate explanation I gave you on the redskins game after making you bring it up countless times as if it were your strong point. You cannot deny Rice beat Green that play, (I never mentioned coverage in that game either after I watched it, so coverage irrelevant as well).

  • @Sharkwalker1 Legitimate explanation? After you said Green "could not cover Rice, Turner yelled at him after he gave up his second or third big play" and PMed me that Rice "did have catches on Green in that game" and wondered aloud if we were watching the same game? Yeah, sure sounds legitimate to me...not like you hadn't watched the game in years and were paying such poor attention to what was happening you couldn't differentiate between a missed tackle and a failure in coverage.

  • @Ricearoni80 its very letimate. I hadn't watched it for years after the first comment but remembered the TD and post game. the PM had to have been written before I watched it as I planned to bait you w/ the TD after seeing it was a run from a long time ago.

  • Why is someone trying to downplay Jerry Rice. Somebody must be mad, that he torched their team. Must be a Raider fan, since he set the Td record on you guys, that Monday night in front of the entire world. Ha Ha Ha Ha.

  • Topics I think we'd both like to tackles; '89 falcons game, '90 falcons game, '93 falcons game, '94 redskins game, '94 nfc championship game, defensive assignments, impacts of zone coverages on man coverages, narcissistic personality disorder (vs. pop culture narcissism), Mark twain and spelling, Einstein and spelling, your Spanish vs. my English. You can add a few topics or take some out if you want. Once we touch on all topics so that we are both content we're done. w/o ad hominems<-childish

  • Man, they're still at it... upsetting scenes. Grown men arguing like children for days on end. Who'll be the first to crack out "my dad could beat up your dad" I wonder... anyways, how about that Jerry Rice guy, he wasn't bad huh?

  • I take comfort in knowing the 34 year old man (if the age on his profile is correct) wastes 30 minutes to 2 hours a day wasting time on me, when I give him 10-30. Google his name and look at how the dude just likes to troll, argue and insult w/ vulgarities towards others. for the record I stand by my original points mentioned in the previous post.

  • @Sharkwalker1 I notice you're now avoiding talking about the 94 Redskins game, the 89 vs. Falcons game, and the 95 Cowboys game. And whatever happened to 600 yards, 4 TDs?

I guess you hope if you ignore them, they'll just go away.

  • @Ricearoni80 I haven't ignored any games or used any strawmen. Moving the target fallacy and argumentum ad naseum applies to your reasoning reguarding the games. Arguementum of silence applies to me not responding to you after this w/ anything other than a wink. I had fun trolling the troll. Hope you had fun too. Grow up and act your age now ;)

  • @Sharkwalker1 What a coward. Rather than admitting you lied about all the things I mentioned, you choose to run away. Pathetic. I'm sure everyone who stops by and reads your comments will cringe at what a joke you are.

BTW, I'm now going to upload Rice's 3 catches @ Washington in 1994, as well as the game clip of the Rice 39 yard catch-and-run TD vs. the Falcons in 1989. I'll give notice on here when they're up. You had fair warning...liars never prosper, nor do cowards.

  • @Ricearoni80 ;) just don't forget ;) the TD rice beat green on in the '94 game, or norv turner's pregame response when asked about his talking to green after said play. ;)

  • @Sharkwalker1 He didn't even catch a TD in that game. You're really nuts.

  • @Ricearoni80 let me revisit the conversation about the '94 redskins

"Green was beat like 2 or 3 times that game. The LAST time Rice beat him.... norv turner.."-me

"I watched it all 3 catches were against #25 the other corner."-you

"I watched it again. Rice beats him for a TD and norv yells."-me

    "no he doesn't liar"-you

"Rice gets past green for a TD"-me

    "liar." -you

"let others watch it for themselves."-me

    "no your a liar."-you

Now I say check the first 4 minutes of the 4th

  • Not cowardly to not argue w/ an obvious troll. Its practical. When you initially posted on this I googled your name and read you argue about Doug (the cartoon), T.O.'s personal life, and random other things. I have not taken you seriously this whole time, but if you want to call me a coward go for it, don't really care what a hypocrite thinks of me. You want me to take you serious lets tackle these plays you keep bringing up 1 by 1 w/o side topics. Start w/ my post underneath.;)

  • @Sharkwalker1 Sure you did. I find it far more likely you googled my account name within the last 24 hours than in the beginning, when you were pretending to be mature, intelligent, accusing me of fallacies, and talking about a bunch of games and plays you never even saw.

  • @Ricearoni80 we can touch on side topics later, only doing this if you really honestly are willing to debate one point at a time. Again, read what I said. Does Rice not juke Green out of his shoes when green had a good angel for a tackle early in the 4th quarter? After, I watch the game I never claimed Rice caught passes on Green. I did claim green was beat multiple times still and that the last time was by Rice... on a run not a pass.

  • @Ricearoni80 Not moving on to falcon's yet (and I get to pick on of my topics for the next since you wanted to pick this one for so long. I hurried through the game and couldn't tell you exactly where the swearing at green is. Turner in pre game is asked about the conversation he had w/ green and he explains he was disappointed w/ Green's performance that game. Green does give up 3 big plays that game... the third of which and only the third is to Rice....

  • @Ricearoni80 Lol, yup I'm making 20 different accounts..... tell yourself what you need to to feel good bud. On the two I do have I had to verify my location and name and it checked the tp ip addy. Not sure if that's still the situation. Post-game instead of pregame (should have been obvious from context, but of course you like to nitpick. Not going to watch the game for the other 1 or 2 big plays, they are there though. you did say "in front of 25"

  • @Sharkwalker1 Yeah, 20 different people are just all of a sudden giving you thumbs up in a span of a few hours when this video has been up 6 months and has under 30,000 views. You got 5 more in the span of about an hour.

You said "pre-game" multiple times. The only thing obvious is that you're an idiot. How do you know what was said in post-game?

Of course you aren't. That would require you actually backing up your claim. And no, I did not. Straw man once again.

  • @Ricearoni80 I haven't sent you a PM for well over a week and a half. So, not sure what the context of it is, but I am always very careful w/ my wording of points, so if you want to send it back I'm sure I can explain it. While on this game explain how #25 was on Rice that last catch. Rice caught that one closer to Green than 25, even though the defense was in a true prevent on that play..... so all three were caught "right in front of #25"

  • @Ricearoni80 PM is b.s. unless it had some funky delay from a week and a half ago. Been planning to use the run TD since I watched the game about them. so any references to catching would have been left out intentionally. So you choose to move on to the Sanders being given the defensive assignment of harper now? Once we move on no going back to redskins.

  • @Sharkwalker1 Oh yeah, now Youtube is wrong about the date on its electronic PM system...it's not that you are LYING or anything. After all, it's not like you lied about Rice having catches on Darrell Green in the 1994 Redskins game and was then cursed out by Norv Turner. It's not like you lied about Deion Sanders giving Rice a 10 yard cushion on the play at 6:30, while Dimry was playing "almost like a safety and blitzing before the snap." It's not like you lied about 95 @ DAL...

  • @Ricearoni80 emails get delayed dude, don't know if a PM could or not but when delayed they show up w/ delivery date usually, same w/ text messages.... so what ONE theme do you want to talk about?

  • @Sharkwalker1 A PM delayed for DAYS? E-mails are delayed for minutes sometimes. Not days on end.

  • @Ricearoni80 emails are delayed though and I have had texts delayed for 6 days before. So a PM could easily be the same.

  • @Sharkwalker1 where you claimed "both ILBs blitz" and "there's a corner lined up on Rice, Rice was double covered." It's not like you lied about Rice having 600 yards and 4 TDs against Deion over the course of their careers.

Nope, Youtube must be wrong, and Sharkwalker1 must be right. Who has more crediblity, Youtube or the clearly infallible Sharkwalker1? LOL.

  • @Ricearoni80 you can pick NFC championship in '94 or stick on redskins.

  • @Ricearoni80 One more thing, short to the point posts, one issue at a time until it is resolved and we go on just that issue until it is decided. Start w/ the '94 redskins game and what I said about it before.

  • I guess in short I'm enjoying trolling the troll. Only original point I made when Ricearoni started on me (w/ 7 full posts I might add) was Rice and Sanders only lined up on each other one time, and that no DB nor cover scheme could consistently shutdown Rice, and that Rice saw all those every cover scheme imaginable. Ricearoni80 has gone on to say Rice was a horrible route runner, and all the things I mentioned before.

  • @Sharkwalker1 I said Rice was a horrible route runner? Holy Straw Man, Batman!

You couldn't be oozing with more hypocrisy if you tried. You commit all the same fallacies you accuse ME of committing, you spend every bit as much time replying to me as I do to you, and then you accuse me of things that only apply to you. Unintentional comedy 4tw.

I called you out on the 600 yards 4 TD nonsense, your "Rice was doubled every play" nonsense, and your "Deion feared Rice" nonsense.

  • @Emcee Nolan quick final thing. I have seen Ricearoni80 a lot on other vids. One time HFXmermaid made a comment "I used to watch this show as a kid." on a video of doug last november and Rice ripped into him and trolled him for saying he watched a kids cartoon. I knew Rice was a troll from the start of this and have been partly trolling back, (especially on irrelevant red herrings he's brought up such as irrelevant games).

  • @Sharkwalker1 Yeah, sure. Were you trolling ccnnlly when you told him Rice had about 600 yards and 4 TDs against Deion? I went through and totaled up Rice's yardage from the 10 times he faced the Falcons when Deion was in the game. It came to 1,051 yards. What you're saying is Rice had about 60% of his receiving yardage in those games against Deion. LOL!

  • @Sharkwalker1 So now that it's starting to sink in you've been caught in a lie about what happened in those games, your new tactic is to pretend you were "trolling" me all along? Seriously, that's the best you can do?

And I'm not a troll. A troll is someone who posts outlandish things for attention. I just call idiots on stupid comments they make. That's not a troll.

  • Rice has been wrong about full games and wrong about defensive strategies, and how a zone around man coverage influences the man coverage (he says it doesn't). I simply ask that you see the picture as a whole, and don't base what side you take on Rice's skewed strawman views of what I said as opposed to what I really said.

  • @Sharkwalker1 Wrong about full games? Where? What does that even mean?

More attempts to project your own failures onto me. I understand how coverages work. You clearly don't.

  • As far as shadowing receivers goes, I disagree with ricearoni80 in that it does exist. But it happens so infrequently it's almost not worth mentioning. The fact that Deion, considered to be the premier cornerback of his time, hardly ever left his usual cornerback spot is pretty telling.

I have seen Revis do it quite a bit, and I recall Champ Bailey covering Owens on both sides several years back, but Asomugha, the second best corner of today, never leaves his side of the field.

  • @EmceeNolan You seem much more reasonable than Ricearoni, nice channel too btw, Ira Miller wrote an article on 1-2-99 for the San Fransisco gate wherein the 2nd to last paragraph she references Sanders being assigned to Harper in the '94 NFC championship. This article is posted online. Those who own the game can check that way. The '93 falcons niners game Sanders shaded rice as well. Rice says he didn't.

  • @Sharkwalker1 How would you know any of this? You clearly don't have the games, or if you do, you have shown no hesitation to lie about what took place.

  • Wow, I can't believe people are actually siding with Sharkwalker1. I have that 1995 game against Dallas, and ricearoni80 is correct. Not only was there no corner lined up on Rice (Taylor was doubled on the outside), but it was just a basic 4 man rush, not a 2 inside linebacker blitz like Sharkwalker1 said. Nobody who actually has that game and watches it would ever make that mistake. Sharkwalker1 is clearly lying about having the games and just yanking your chain hoping nobody will check.

  • ........ well it is really sad. If you went and did something irl to "lograr" your unachieved goals and shortcomings maybe you wouldn't have to feel important through arguing w/ people you feel are mentally inferior online. Also, for the record, you've shown paranoia, "you probably are him w/ a different handle"-to Jay. So projecting actually applies to you. Maybe you should realize that and move on.

  • @ricearoni80 as the common saying goes "Hay del hipocrita" (woe unto the hypocrite). Oh another one, accusing me of pretending to be more important than I am, then implying, through everything you say, that you are superior in intelligence to everyone. Calling me lame for saying what my IQ is then bragging about your wpm you type. There is nothing you can accuse me of doing, which you haven't done yourself, grow up and move on. Overcompensating for w/e sad childhood/current life you had here

  • seriously get a life. Also notice each top comment got one negative vote lol. Obviously it bothers you if you felt the need to negative vote each of them. You hold others to standards you don't hold your self to bud. Your insulting randomly and calling others "12 years old" when they do the same, saying "your a lyer." then lying yourself and such is hypocritical. Accusing me of "psyco-babble" when I have correctly utilized words and you have not.

  • @Sharkwalker1 I haven't lied once. Unlike you, I actually have the games we've discussed. And I haven't misused a single word...you have, though. More attempts to project your own failures onto me.

  • I haven't admitted anything other than you are no longer worth more than one or two minutes a response. lol I think its funny that anyone who disagrees with you, you automatically insult and assume is less intelligent then you. argumentum ad populum could apply if you have a better way of determining a winner. for the record, didn't need to look up the term. I'm guessing you googled fallacies and combed a list of them to find one that applied. "I is 80, I is smart and can use google."

  • @Sharkwalker1 Again, this isn't a matter of opinion. Sorry, but anyone who thinks the earth is flat is an idiot.

No, argumentum ad populum applies exactly to your pitiful attempts to use people "agreeing" with you as evidence that you're correct. And no, sorry...didn't look anything up. I've known popular fallacies for years. I'm a veteran of these internet battles and have seen countless pseudo-intellectuals of your ilk trying to impress with them. You won't be the last.

  • you're spelt wrong on purpose to fall in line w/ mark twain's philosophy on spelling and creativeness btw

  • @Ricearoni80 for the record both top rated posts are saying your wrong lol I think I'm done w/ you now. Seems other people are speaking up about your ineptitude already. Guess you couldn't keep up w/ my IQ ;) lol

  • @Sharkwalker1 Here's one for you, fallacy boy - look up "argumentum ad populum." Tell me what it says.

  • Best ever!

  • LMAA the funniest thing is ricearoni you want to talk about a few games in which Jerry Rice was shut down..........AND. Until further notice Rice is the GOAT period. Your an idiot, all great players have there down moments, hop off the nutz of the great one, and sit in your grandmas basement and eat some bon bons.

  • notice the top rated posts. One that says I am right stuck there right on the top lol. Another saying let the fans watch the game for themselves. One eventually will and you will realize that profootballreference, and a bad memory are hardly compensation for someone who actually has the games. I can't believe you are still trying to bluff this. Wrong about FULL GAMES and no knowledge of strategies and strategy effects, I swear you learned football FROM MADDEN. Which is nothing like irl.

  • @Sharkwalker1 You WISH I were bluffing. I'm not. Keep testing me and I'll post the plays and end you.

Yeah, Madden...nothing like real life. Only overseen by a Hall of Fame NFL coach. For 20 years there was no "assign" feature. I guess to dumb it down for fans who were too stupid/lazy to create variations in their coverage shell alignments, they catered to the Sharkwalker1's of the world a year or two ago. You should send them a "thank you" note.

  • @sharkwalker1 @ricearoni80 I have read your comments for weeks now, and made a new account just to comment. Ricearoni is right about the hitch play (I can see it, not sure about other 2 I don't have the games like you both seem to) Where do you get those? Sharkwalker is right about Sanders following people around. Sharkwalker seems more reasonable to me just because I understand how he connects his thoughts better and he is more respectful. Just my 10 cents.

  • @Jaybegood4u So you acknowledge that you have confirmed Sharkwalker1 has been flat-out LYING about the hitch play in the 89 Falcons game, yet you think he's "more reasonable?" LOL...yeah, that makes loads of sense.

Again, anyone who thinks Deion "followed people around" doesn't understand how football defenses work. Deion lined up where he was assigned in a given defensive package. He didn't wait for the offense to line up, then go, "duh, where's *insert WR here*? QUICK, FIND HIM"

  • @Ricearoni80 You are a moron. CBs will wait w/ each other near midfield and see which way a WR breaks out of the huddle and follow. I can't believe how dumb you are. How does shark put up with your sheer stupidity? Shark may have that one play confused, or whatever, but you are just stupid about football. He understands coverages, oh and Madden does have an option for defensive assignments as well, unless you are playing madden '94, maybe you should check it next time.Google it

  • @Jaybegood4u Uh, no, dumbass. I have Madden 2004. There is no option to do something that inane. Never has been, never will be. Probably because John Madden understands how football works, and you don't.

And he flat-out lied about THREE plays, not one. Siding with Sharkwalker1 is a credibility-ender. Then again, you're probably the same person under different handles (he's not even using the same handle he started with), so I don't take anything you say too seriously.
